This map will most likely not receive any more updates. I no longer play this game, and I won’t have the same kind of free time I had when I originally made this for a long time

Well the last update was in 2018, we just never got the time to do anything more. At some point in 2020 or 2021, I removed the rebar and debris spam and was going to look into redoing each location, but never got anywhere with that version. My main things at the moment are to just slowly work on little tools as I finish my education and either use them for UII if it releases by then or for my own projects.

There were supposed to be NPCs but there were some issues with the files years ago and they never got remade. I'm still waiting on that distant point in the future where we do something with our maps.

I've got a problem: I've come to the Coalition HQ (Lindens Prison) and entered a safezone, but there were no NPCs whatosever.
I also went to the Northsfolk Camp, but found no survivors at all and no safezone
Did I miss something? Do I have to download the NPCs separately like with Kyushu or is there something else? Thanks in advance

What kind of edits? We've never came back to working on this map as was said in the past so I guess no harm in letting someone else do stuff with it though. I removed all the rebar and debris spam on my own once but I think that version is lost.

If you upload it to the workshop, make sure to mention this version somewhere in the description.

It may take 3 or 4 years for it to have most of the features but the map editor may come much sooner than that depending on how things go.

I will be working on a final bug fix update here withen the next months in order to hammer out some of the final issues and in general help improve the map. This will most likely be the last update for this version of the map. Once Unturned 2 releases this map may be brought over and get the 2.0 overhaul update, but I don't see a point in developing the 2.0 update when Unturned 2 is around the corner.

Some issue in the past caused us to lose them all. See the last thing I said and you'll know why there have been no updates. With my logic, there isn't too much of a point in making massive amounts of content for 3.0 anymore but we are in a position where we can prepare content for UII.

It was kind of abandoned because we didn't have enough spare time to work on it. Right now our focus is on a personal project and UII whenever it gets to a point where maps can be made by the public.

I was expecting for Brivdon to release the last update but I guess he forgot about it with all the things going on. I'm planning to work on the custom objects and the NPCs all throughout this week.

Quite a shame that I don't think that this map while be updated, and be stuck in "development limbo." Even though this map is about 90% finished, it doesn't feel like that.

The map should be updated sometime this month and other updates will start to come out at regular intervals even as we work on our current project.

loved playing this map a few months back i really hope to see fixed npcs/npcs at the prison and i would also love to use this map for possibily a future youtube series but it needs a few tweeks and fixes for me to use it :D! not to mention npcs. Keep up the great work hope to see a update soon

@Ultimate Pro Gamer Thank you so much for checking out my map! I am currently working on a new update that will fix the npc completely, finish alot of the unfinished locations, and will expand apon the lore of the map. The update will also revamp some of the locations that I feel could use some upgrades to, with major improvements coming to the deadzones.

I love this map and the way it's fully Vanilla but i spotted afew things.
1, Near small town there are deadzone trees around but no deadzone!
2, The Lindens Prison is a safezone but with no NPC's or spawns???
3, Please finish Kolinis town ;(
4, i would REALLY LOVE YOU (No homo) if you finished the unmarked location next to Dead Town please!. It looks like it has a storyline this map and love the work and details!

If a location doesn't have zombies you either have them disabled in your settings or it may be one of the locations that wasn't fully done.

I'll consider making small groups of NPCs with their own sets of quests and maybe a few areas for traders when we get around to redoing them.

I'm Portuguese, and I'm loving the map you've made. It's big and incredible, I think I'm in love with him. But I'll ask you for one thing: the more you interact with the npc, you could do random survivors on the map as if they were just very small groups of survivors who came together to survive with small missions and also with traders for us players to have little more fun.

Everything we have done so far may or may not change when the update comes out so I'll just say that they still are in development. I normally have more time to work on things than Brivdon does but right now both of us aren't able to devote ourselves to working on the map update. Some of the delay also comes from us improving our skills so it isn't just a repeat of when the map was first released.

The main roadblock im running into the update is with time, its likely it wont be for another week or two until development really starts again. I think there will be a smaller update before the larger 2.0 update, and I would like to make a Unforgiving Version for lower end pc aswell(removing lots of teh detail so lower spec pc can run the map). There is also a project that Craven and I are working on, but updates on that wont come for a few more weeks aswell.

I'm not sure whats going on with the map right now but the last update was delayed so some other projects could be worked on. The planned update was going to replace almost all the objects with custom ones, redo all item and zombie spawns, improve some issues with performance, and completely redo all the NPCs.

The major update planned by Brivdon will also include the redone NPCs incase anybody is still wondering about why they haven't been readded yet. We will consider any suggestions for this update or future updates.

@Skippy sometimes servers will install mods adomatically. I would go throught the workshop file and make sure this has not happended.

@everyone: The problem of crashing isnt a problem in this map! Its a modconflict problem.
Did some testing, did remove all of my mods and maps except this map, and it did play without any problem. did reload most of my mods, and still plays fine, so i think the problem is a conflict with some other map, because i didnt reload any of them.

So if you have also the problem of crashing, remove all other maps from your game, and try again!

@brivdon: What Mega_lime_gamer is saying is a good point, its sometimes hard to see if there is laying something on the ground in the city's/villages. Al those things sticking out of the ground make it really hard to see.
But like i said: its really a very good map and a lot of fun to play when it works. You guys did an awesome job!!

@mega_Lime_Gamer Thanks for the review! Me and Craven have been working on a update that will removed alot of the uneccasary rebar and scaled debris, aswell as fix some bugs. That should be out withen the next few weeks.

Honestly I think you should get rid of about half of the trees you plan to kill, cause i lag, (mostly cause my computer is a potato,) but its not as bad as others
