i I love the idea, but it was a frustrating waste of a significant amount of resources to craft it only to discover that it cannot be upgraded and is not appropriate for mid and late game play.

It does look damn fine on the mannequin in my Your Home armor museum, though

Would love if you could make it possible to upgrade the Nocturnal-set, it got quite low armor stats compared to other armours (e.g. thieves guild masters-set).

I was able to fill new update. At now, shadow effect works when sneaking only.

No, it isn't. Standard Nightingale and Daedric armor texture.
axia 10 Mar, 2012 @ 3:36pm
Is it a retexture?
Нудик  [author] 7 Mar, 2012 @ 2:54pm
Ok, I will correct it on weekend.

I think that it's a good idea for the Nocturnal Dark Curiass to show the shadow effect only when sneaking as well...
Нудик  [author] 23 Feb, 2012 @ 4:30am
i will think about "sneak visual effect". :)

I think Nocturnal Hood + Nocturnal Champion Armor + Nocturnal Champion Gloves + Nocturnal Champion Boots form set, and you get bonuses from light armor perks. When i'll learn how to change model but still getting set bonuses, i do another hood based on Daedric Helm with Nightingale helm model.

Ah, very nice pictures. Doesn't look as bad as I thought :) but do the Dark Hawk armor and the Nocturnal Dark Cuirass show the shadow effect even when you are standing. If so, could you make it to where it shows just when you're sneaking? ... Sorry about all these requests and questions btw It's just this armor here is like...perfect for me, and I just want it to be the best that it can be.

You know, scratch the Dark Hawk Armor question. It's still the same armor, just has a different name (you may want to rename it btw maybe the "Dark Nocturnal Champion Armor"). If the armor did have a set bonus then I imagine it would apply to the Dark Hawk Armor.
Joekr The Jester 22 Feb, 2012 @ 6:43am
Oh, ok. So I don't have to upgrade the armor if I don't want to. Very nice. But I do have a couple questions. Does this armor give a armor set bonus? If so, would I still get the bonus if I used the Dark Hawk Amor? This is just out of curiosity. This armor is powerful enough to where it doesn't need a armor set bonus and I'm going to use it regardless.
Нудик  [author] 22 Feb, 2012 @ 6:27am
You can choose which armor you want. I left all old models.
Нудик  [author] 22 Feb, 2012 @ 6:14am
Set renamed. At now it calls Nocturnal Champion Set. Includes: Nocturnal Champion Armor, Nocturnal Champion Gloves, Nocturnal Champion Boots. New set calls Nocturnal set. Nocturnal Hood (Old title - Hawk Hood) have no upgrade.
To create new armor/gloves/boots u need old items (Nocturnal Champion Armor/Gloves/Boots) and several Daedra Hearts. Also, to create Nocturnal Hood need 2 daedra hearts. You can find new items (4) in Daedric Craft Menu.

I'm all for changing the gloves and boots. but I think the daedric cuirass would be a bit to flashy for a sneak/light armor. Those shoulder pads just sorta scream "LOOK AT ME!" It would sorta ruin the look of a stealth armor. I think sticking to gloves and boots would be plenty. But it's your armor, your choice. However, whatever you do change, be sure that they are still considered a "light armor"
Нудик  [author] 22 Feb, 2012 @ 3:44am
Hmm.. Good idea. Probably i'll change armor/gloves and boots on Daedric models.
I think, only Nightingale hood looks great, another parts of the set have simple models.
Joekr The Jester 21 Feb, 2012 @ 2:57pm
Awesome! I think the only way it could get any cooler is if you used the deadric model for the gloves (but it would still have the same stats and be a light armor). You see what I'm saying? I'm not requesting you to do it or anything, but I think it would look cool all the same.
Нудик  [author] 21 Feb, 2012 @ 10:39am
Did it: "Also u can find Dark Hawk Armor in craft menu. It has same features, but you become shadow. :)".
Joekr The Jester 21 Feb, 2012 @ 8:58am
Thanks a bunch!
Нудик  [author] 21 Feb, 2012 @ 8:14am
Okay, i will)). Maybe tommorow.
Joekr The Jester 21 Feb, 2012 @ 7:03am
...Can you make a version with the effect? Please?
Нудик  [author] 21 Feb, 2012 @ 6:32am
Removed effect when sneaking, added magic resistance on armor.
It disturbed when taking aim.
Нудик  [author] 21 Feb, 2012 @ 4:45am
Probably not :(. Just started work in Creation Kit. Low skill etc. :D
Joekr The Jester 21 Feb, 2012 @ 4:28am
This is amazing just what I've been looking for! Can you make it adapt to your level like the nightingale armor does. (ie lower stats stats for lower levels)
