This is NOT the doing of any stack mod, it is because I have been thick while making the mod and have forgotten to add these, I am taking care of this now, updated mod will be uploaded today sometime.

We are unable to add chitin, keratin, stone and sulfur to the troughs, all 3 of them. But we can add narcoberry and stimberry... could this be because of a stacking mod?

oh and for W0lf3y again, the range of the troughs to the power outlet is about 6 foundations as apposed to the vanilla 2 foundations.

As of V2.2 now connects to wired power supplies as requested by W0f3y below, happy to oblige buddy.

Also put an emission material on the range mesh so it shows at night, it will flash off and on every 6 seconds, i.e. 6 seconds on 6 seconds off, (this is for any epilepsy sufferers out there the slow flashing should not effect you), the mesh will show for 5 minutes then will be automatically hidden in case you forget to turn it off again.

That is what I thought, and thank you for pointing this out to me as I have 3 other mods that I have not implemented the option to use the wired generator, I am in the process of implementing that option in this mod, hopefully the update will be posted today.

There are a few things to change to implement it so it may take a wee while also the editor is SOOOOO slow lol.

We use an electric generator, run cables to outlets. Then have the trough in range of the outlet.

A question for you WOlf3y, are you trying to connect cabled power supplies to it or are you using the tek tier generator? The reason I ask is I have just noticed I have failed to include cable snap points (which I am working on now).

I have tried with both my wireless solar panels and the Tek Tier Generator and the troughs seem to work okay, if you want it powered by cables just wait a wee while until I do all the troughs then cook and reupload it.

Hi Bolisaris,
We are playing crystal isles dlc map. We haven't made any solar panels,
We have an electric generator powering everything but I will cycle it on/off just to test if it helps.

I think the 120 slots is plenty sufficient.

Have tested thoroughly and it is working, remember if you place a trough while either the wired or wireless solar panels are activated you will need to power down the panel then reactivate, then the tough will be powered, I am trying to find out just why it is doing that, I think it has something to do with the stasis or something, but this is a fair workaround.

I am also working on the range mesh to make them easier to see as wireframe is not clear enough.

I am also toying with the idea of having an ini option so you can chose the slot size of a trough, let me know what you all think?

Strange, last time I tried they all worked perfectly, on SP and server modes. I will test again to see if they are still working and if not will recook the mod and upload.

Hi again,
We made one of each trough but are unable to get them to be powered. Definately within range of the outlet and the cables are working as we put an electric light nearby and it worked. Also found the feed range wouldn't show, but that might be power related.
We stopped the server and cleaned the mods folder to force it to download the newest version to see if that helped but it didn't make a difference.
Thanks for working on improving the mod. We've used this for a long time and it will be great to get rid of some of the feed trough we had to build to cover the whole zoo.

Have tested in SP mode and engrams now appear, testing on my server now.

Hello, Got the updated mod with multiple trough ranges. Can't seem to find the engram or blueprint. Any suggestions? Have confirmed the mod ID number is correct and the server has been restarted after it's inclusion.

I forgot to mention, bec ause there are so many mods out there that allow you to show the ranges by showing a sphere, I have added a delay to mine and the sphere will vanish after 5 minutes, this saves having all those spheres showing at once, very confusing.

Okay I will upload the new makeover today some time, as it is a complete makeover all the troughs in your game will need to be replaced.

I will still work to get the menu option working but for now these will do the job I think.

I have come to the conclusion that this cannot be done in the menu, I am having trouble getting the stasis of the feed area range to change (as I am not that experienced at coding) so as a workaround I am going to have 3 models in the mod those being.....

Default Trough - The normal 11 foundation area range.

Medium Trough - This increases the range to 24 foundations.

High Trough - This will increase the range to 48 foundations.

As you see the range doubles with each model, if this is good enough let me know and I will update the mod on steam, if I hear nothing I will not bother.

I may be onto cracking this and having options available in the HUD menu, Just needed to get my brain back into the UE4 modding frame.

I am testing it out now in SP mode and Server Mode, if it is working I will upload sometime today.

Now I feel well enough to get back to modding I will be making changes regularly.

Good idea! I've always thought that there should be a higher tier of trough, possibly electric, but made of metal. I hate having a base fully upgraded to metal, vaults and the like and then having this wood thing sticking out like a sore thumb.

I have found that the trough will not take sweet veggie cake, and also I feel that due to some ctreatures needing other foods to rear from young I have decided to allow cooked meats and all other food types with the exception of Narco & Stimberries. I have sorted the faults above and will upload the updated mod early in the morning.

@ Fleet Unity - I did not realize it works with the battery in Aberration thanks for the info and I am pleased you like my wireless solar panels, which is why this mod works with it as it does not need junction boxes.

Have found out why it is not being powered by the junction box, I must have disabled the code that controls that at some point, it has been sorted and I am cooking the mod as I type and will upload the updated mod within the next 2 or 3 hours.

I have tested this in the editor but not in game, as soon as I upload it I will test in SP mode then tomorrow I will check the Multi-Player mode to see if it is working as intended, sorry about that but hey sh*t happens lol.

This mod at the moment does not activate from a junction box, I have just had this pointed out to me, I do not know what I have done but it did work, maybe un-ticked something inadvertently, I will take a look now and sort it out, sorry about this.

Great mod there are so few Refridgerated Feed Trough mods out there! Also for some reason it looks like a normal none pulse generators cannot power this, your Wireless_Solar_Panels_V1.2 mod will, and I assume a tek generator will power this but I am not sure as I have not unlocked it yet, thanks for sharing this mod!
