Not sure what that one means, but Xcom was highly influential in this mod`s creation. Weapons are much wider though and not 100% replicas at all.

I noticed that sometimes Cortex fails to get a response from the steam network if there are mods installed. In this case it just switches to offline mode and ignores any updates/new mods.

The actor has a worrying tendency to spawn decapitated; whether he's leaving a vehicle or even being spawned while editing a bunker, his head will sometimes just disappear in a shower of blood. Maybe it's an issue with a missing head sprite or something?

I think you should up the damage abit on the siegeguns siege mode because I feel it doesn't do enough damage for its long reload time.

Yeah, already dug out that faction file and did a bit of a research. To make it fully VW compatible i need to finish the other actors first and possibly design a unique dropship or two.

And also on Void Wanderers as was linked before, adding support for it is as simple as adding a faction.lua file to the mod such as the one here [www.dropbox.com] that I made for it to try them for myself (if using that file I would recommend changing the costs/research to what you feel is appropriate for the faction, and their map bonuses), which consequently would also add support for Unmapped Lands 2 which is by the same mod author and uses the same faction file.

Nothing defined in the faction file affects vanilla (so prices can be different if desired), and research(unmapped lands)/reputation(void wanderers) required can be adjusted in the file.

- hopefully fixed the issue with OSX/Linux
- reworked laser effects once again (fixed inability to cause damage at point blank)
- some balancing and tuning (see changes list)

Thanks, will fix it. Though i don`t recall any specific places where i didn`t copy/paste the explorer`s path directly.

Might be the issue with '/' and '\' though. Need to check.

Named the items to be unique and not to cause issues with other mods and such. Also didn`t want to completelly sopy/paste the original stuff. As you can see not just the names changed, but the sprites as well.

Cortex already has an XCOM mod with all the stuff ported in, no need to have another clone.

I'm confused. I don't remember any of these weapons being in the original X-Com game (UFO: Enemy Unknown). They had poetic names like:

• Pistol
• Rifle
• Heavy Laser
