I don't really know much about modding so I would assume it's not as simple as just changing some lines like I did to get it to work the same way it does in your mod, so I'm not sure if this might help.
I need more time with this one.
I did find out why Germany was called German Empire and it is fixed. I will upload the update tonight.
Also, I did find another name which you've probably already noticed yourself, Canada has gone back to being "Dominion of Canada" rather than just Canada. Don't know how I didn't see that since it's quite a long name.
"Red China" was intentional. After research I found out Mao Zedong's cell wasn't organized as "Soviet" for very long (stopped being so in 1937) whereas the moniker "Red China" was not only ubiquitous throughout that era but also earnestly embraced by the communists themselves.
No idea why on earth India and Germany got the vanilla names back, I will fix this.
Maybe that's it? If not, again, I appreciate reports so I can try something else.

Tho, seeing the latest comments, it seems while the Mod still works, it's never getting new updates
Your localisation file seems to be perfectly normal and up to date with No Step Back, but for some reason, if you go down the "Assemble the Regency Council" path in Poland, it will still become "Kingdom of Poland'. (This is the only way to see the issue)
Apparently, using the localisation/replace method doesn't work for Poland (I believe it's working for other countries, like Canada and British India)
When I copied the cosmetic country names from your mod and paste it into a new mod, not using localisation/replace/SCN_Countries_l_english.yml but instead localisation/countries_cosmetic_I_english.yml, it works perfectly fine.
It could just be a HOI4 bug.
@Guilhoerme this mod doesn't change the checksum. It will work perfectly in multiplayer and won't affect other players, only your own game.

Are you using any other mods that add new factions, events etc? I checked but seems OK on my end.
