so, what things are needed to make your own planet, cos ive looked through the files and couldnt find anything that seems like its what id need, what software would i need? also, is it possible to define what anomalies are on the planet?

So I really like to make custom factions, and since I play a bunch of rpgs, I give all of them backstories (even if they are stuck with one of the major faction's storylines). And while I do name my starting planet and defend it like it's unique, it isn't. So this mod is really appealing, and I will check it out. Though I have to ask if that known issue is still an issue, and if so than is there a way around it until you fix said issue.

Also, maybe made a information for clouds texture because you said is different. (Blakc and white texture without alpha and a "color texture").

We're using "octmaps" (that's what the 3D programmer calls them but I'm not sure it's the right terminology), which is why your "lat/long" textures (that's how these are named in our architecture) were looking weird in-game.

Note that it could be vaguely possible to have the anomaly spawn on the planet using the AnomalyDefinition's GeneratorInfo:
The issue is it can only have 'PlanetFilterNot' filters, so it's difficult to say "target this planet" instead of "don't target those planets". Also, it doesn't mean the planet will always spawn with the anomaly...

It is not possible to spawn a specific anomaly on a specific planet with a mod: this is done in the generator's code/prefab and currently cannot be modified.
As for the planet texture generator, I'm going to ask the producers if we are allowed to distribute it!

Also, coud you explain how to deforma texture because my texture isn't correct in game (I inverted (right/left) the orignal texture and resize to a cube (2048*2048,...)).
I test plan and cordonnar polar, isn't correct.

Oh, I don't think it is possible, the galaxy generator's code limits the number of planets to 5, otherwise it wouldn't fit in the screen :/

I think you understand my question. I talk for a generated system can must 5 planets because by default the maximum planets in a system is 5 planets.
The configuration file is GalaxyGenerator\WeightTableDefinitions.xml.

this mod shows how to create one planet, but you can create 20 of them using the exact same methods! You just have to duplicate the data in the XML, by changing the name of the SimulationDescriptors and stuff like that.

Hey Zephyr, do you want to create a new type, or replace the Terran type?

If you want to create a new type, you can look at how the mod is made, and replace the textures with the ones of your choice (you can extract the textures for the Terran planet with the Resources export tool).

If you just want to modify the FIDSI of the existing terran type, you'll only need to override its SimulationDescriptors, but this is not covered by this example mod (there are several balancing mods which do it though).
