Press F1 to go into editor mode and hover your mouse over the characters tab on the top left corner and look in custom characters or just search the name of this character in the search bar, then load the character into the level by clicking on him and click anywhere on the level for him to load in that spot, then double click on the white box that the character is in and press Crtl+Shift+P
so the box will turn green, making him a playable character and see if that works :)

If you have blender 2.55, Overgrowth has all the scripts you need to import and export your stuff. once you export you model and skeleton ( make sure your model's faces is triangulated ) make a folder to put the models in it, and if you have an error that tell you that the skeleton and the obj verts are different, I recommend that you reduce the faces to 10,000 or 11,000. Also you are free to use my Custom Character files to help you make a character folder by going to Steam/steamapps/workshop/content/2500 and type in the characters name that's in my mod the mod will have all of the XML files you need to make the character working but be sure to edit them. If you need more help, i'll try to help

LeHedgehoog202, I'm really lost in this modelling stuff. As there is no guide on how to make a custom character. All I require is, what do I do, when I export the skeleton? I'm not sure exactly what need to happen.

That sounds about right. Did you also add the PaletteMap entry in the character object XML?
Copy this into that XML file (the small one, for the object, not the one that specifies all the attacks), and change the label names to whatever makes sense for your character:
<PaletteMap label_red="Fur"
label_green="Ropes"
label_blue="Pants"
label_alpha="Spots">

I think I might be doing something wrong with the tint map, I colored 3 different sections in it which was the pants,shirt, and fur. The fur was colored as red and blue for the pants and also green for the shirt. Sadly they dont work, could I be doing something wrong

If you haven't already, there's a "tint map" texture that you can add to specify where colors can be placed on the model. You can specify this in the character XML file.

I'm not sure we have the format documented on the wiki at this time, but you could look at existing character XMLs/tint maps to see how it's used. Let me know if you decide to do this and get stuck, and I can see if I can help.
