how do i get to indy lights and indy cars

can drivers from other categories jump to f1 in this? and if it is, how can i disable that?

@bob - Yes if you change it before you start a career it will take effect. To disable promotions change TRUE to FALSE, but only in the first line.

And sorry for interruptin but where is the folder with mods ?

I can disable it on my own yes ? But in some comments under your 2021 F1 mod that i wont see lower leagues when i switch off relegation and promotion system, is that true ?

@bob - Can't quite remember as this is an old mod but I believe it is. Check in the championship.txt file in the mod folder. If the first line has TRUE written in it on the left hand side then yes relegations and promotions are enabled

It's a couple of days since I installed this, and I'm really impressed with the effort the mod author put into creating it. To have actual "real" teams with "real" names and photos is a total joy. It's re-vitalised my enthusiasm for the game. The re-skinned cars look brilliant, especially Red Bull.

The entire gameplay has been re-worked to fit into the 2018 F1, F2 and F3 scene, with surprising accuracy. Eddie's passion for fine detail is extraordinary. Even the media commentators are shown with photos and logos, like Sky Sports, ESPN etc...

I could go on and on, but I know people never read long comments, so I will just say...
Get this now, you'll not regret it. This is soooo much more fun than the default game.

I know I'm late to the party on this, but thanks for a superb mod. Love it!

I would like to ask you if there's a way to turn off, or diminish, the video wallpaper that runs in the background when you're in the Home Screen. When I'm trying to select my Pit Crew changes, I find it very difficult to see what I'm doing. The background is more dominant than the foreground and it should be the other way round.

If you have created a different version of this mod, with the background video toned down so it isn't so obvious, I will probably switch to that mod instead. Could you please advise...

Very good mod currently at Red Bull in season 1 leading the championship fighting mainly with Vettel this mod is more interesting than the base game because you have real drivers.

@MaNYaK - You most likely had some problem with mods being active. Check in the steam workshop square on the menu that the mod is still enabled, then reloading a save game should work, but only if the right mod is active

I started playing the mod and it was working well. After I quit the game and come back in I saw that team names, driver portraits and the car liveries went back to vanilla. Can anybody help?

@lankie Yes If someone has job to drive a vehicle that goes 300 Km/h or faster we call that person ''Pilot'' so its normal you can research.

@McGee - It seems there might be a problem with how you've activated the mod. Are you trying to use with a save game? Try start a new career mode but make sure no other mods are active

so I just downloaded this mod, and it's amazing, however the names don't match up, like Daniel Ricciardo is name Zoe Sharp in my game, is there a way to change that?

The sistem of MM makes the drivers perfomance different with the real ones, for example with Ferrari i have Raikkonen that is slower than his real perfomance, and this makes less realistic, can does something to fix it? even something can do by myself?

Is there a way to disable relegation? I got to the end of the Formula 1 season as Williams and Sauber got kicked down to Formula 2.

@pikus222 - You will need the GT expansion to play the Indycar series and the Endurance expansion for the World Endurance series. I can't remember whether you still have to pay for them tho

How I can play IndyCar series in this mod?

Cdball - I'm not too sure whats happened i'm afraid. There do seem to be some cases of black screens at random times, but I've also had these problems with other mods and the vanila game, so it could be anything really. Sorry I can't help much more

@eddiemarkwick I picked United Autosports, and I got to the first race (Ardennes) I can do practice, and qualifying, but after i pick my settings for the race and hit start, it gets stuck on a black screen.

Rosberg retired a few years ago and it doesn't look like he's coming back any time soonn, hence he's not in the mod. What do you mean by overage?

@Pickled Peachez - hmmm, not too sure. I've had similar issues but that has been down to more than one mod active. Try looking on the steam workshop on the main menu and check both mods and assets to make sure nothing is overlapping. Apart from that I'm really not too sure.

@eddiemarkwick.....Great mod really enjoying it...got an issue though im getting a crash and error and then shutdown of game wheile trying to livequalify for Bejing....the error is saying....

"ERROR - MOD (s) Enabled, You have one or more mods active which edit the game's database.
User created can create serious problems and may be the cause of this crash.
If this error persists with mods disabled, please contact support"

Any ideas....only have your mod running....

Oh, and sponsers are spot on. I agree with the big payoff at end of the season rather than larger fixed payments.

This mod pulled me away from the FIRE 2018 mod. Love the financials, the updated personel and the massive amount of pictures for them. The only other things I could hope for would be more engine constructors to choose from in F1 (something FIRE 2018 has) and more free agent drivers. Otherwise I consider this to be the best mod out now.

But too many races of a season

@veltto - you can start your own team, but if you do I'd recommend starting from the bottom in GP3. You could start in F1, but you would be very far behind (like in the vanilla game), as well as lacking enough funds to match the leaders.
