The Northman race is good but is no shouting noise

You know there's already a race for "northmen"/vikings. They're called Nords. They're in the vanilla game and are based on vikings/scandinavians. The land of Skyrim is based on Scandinavia, Russia and north North America.

Realy liked the idea of this mod, but then I saw you needed to download two nexus-modes for this mod to work. Thats just stupied.

German is a word with latin root it means brother, so when the romans talked about the german's people they were refering about brother peolples from the north. Your list should add German from Germany, austrian and italians from the north. The tale from Nibelung for example, occurs in the north of italy. The Huns were the people each the north italian whose came from the island of Gothia fought, after the decadence of the roman empire.

Sorry, mistake: Norsemen, Angles, Saxons, Franks, Burgundians, Frysians, Vandals and other Germanic tribes were called Teutons.I should be historically correct too!

@Danyyy: Correct! Only the norsemen that raided whole parts of Europe were called vikings, other just norsemen who were just merchants and traders. Other norsemen were Angles, Saxons, Franks, Burgundians, Frysians, Vandals, more commonly Germanic peoples. You have still a lot to do!!

Obviously all northmen was not vikings and far from all vikings did go berserk. But as you write its just fictional and its makes the game more fun. I was thinking to make a background quest about why you ended up to skyrim and also im building an isle with an viking village. Where the player will evetually in the questline get to and then lead an viking raid to skyrim.

Hi Danyyy, that's not necessary! I believe you on your word. But the hair in the first pic looks quite red and the cover pic has a helmet with horns. Personally, I'm participating in historical reenactment as a Viking or better a Norseman (10th century in a Frisian settlement) and just want to have things historically right. Ingame I'm just a fictional Skyrim Nord from Tamriel (see my avatar). But, it's all just fictional, so it really doesn't matter. I have added the Edda, Heimskringla and other Norse myths, legends and sagas to the game, and I am planning to add the Icelandic sagas also. Does it really fit into the game? Actually not, but since Bethesda put in a (unfinished) quest about the Edda, I thought it would be nice to have the real Edda into the game.

Hello Altbert, the majority of my actors in this mod have blue eyes, blond or yellow hair but some brown colour. There will be no horn helmets in my mod :)

If u want, i could post a picture with all of them here.

Seeing your tags viking, norse, etc., I think you should not use red hair but instead variants of blond with blueish eyes. Red haired are more celtic types. As for the helmets: never use them with horns, as they were never used, except in movies!!
