Ukrainians hate Russia/the Soviet Union so much yet you wouldn't exist without them.

Tsars gave you North Ukraine, Lenin gave you Eastern and Southern Ukraine, Stalin gave you Western Ukraine and Krushchev gave you Crimea.

Without the SU and Russia, Ukraine would just be half of Dnepropetrovsk and Kirovograd.
