I mean, historically-speaking, the nazis scrapped the black-white-red tricolor flag fairly quickly when they came to power and replaced it with the party flag, doing generally the same for other flags from the old German Empire; they pretty much shifted things to glorification of party-related flags and symbols once they cemented their power, and given this flag and the black-white-red tricolor are far more representative of the German Empire than the nazis, I respectfully disagree with the sentiment of it being a "clear symbol for the nazi party".

As far as I'm aware, it's used far more commonly by monarchists (and yes, they still exist in Germany) than it is by any far-right parties, generally because they have other things to use that line up more to their ideologies.

Also, those kinds of parties didn't exactly crop up until 1919, after the Central Powers' defeat in the Great War and the signing of Versailles; they were the more extreme reactionist parties.

In germany today it is a clear symbol for nazi-parties. And by the way: in 1903 such parties are already on its way.

Well nazis like to glorify nationalistic symbolism even if they aren't directly tied to nazism.

I just really thought the ingame flag was trash, and thought the tricolor didn't fit the time period. So I chose the naval ensign for the german empire to create a more visually pleasing flag. And while I wasn't at the time I made this, I am a far left extremist, and I've never been a nazi. I just think this flag looks cool.

Are you a nazi or what? Who on earth would like to have this flag!?
