I also agree with CyborGnome although I think it should start at classical ages 'cause they had roads by then
To anyone reading, i recommend this for immersion.
But I do wonder if there's any way to make it only start after some time (like medieval ages)? Just curiosity... I myself won't mess with it, since the script is from turn 1 and i would have to re-write the whole thing (which is NEVER a good idea).
This mod clearly includes a script that it has saved to your game from turn 1 that causes the roads to appear every-time you build an improvement, and once the script saves to your saved game file, it cannot be removed even if you uninstall the mod and remove all of its files from your computer.
That means that you'll have to start a brand new game and save file without the mod installed to no longer have this mod cause your improvements to be built with roads included with the improvement.
Does that make sense?
Hi jtdice, we have the mod installed on Mac OS Mojave, and it works fine. Have not tested it on Catalina.
Hi Dimos, we have not tested our mod with that mod. If you try it out, it would be great if you posted about your results.
@jessy2299 It is military engineers that can build roads
Hi CoffeeKitty, if you send your log files we can take a look.
Hi Grathocke, to my knowledge, and based on the Civ VI Wiki, builders have never been able to make a standalone road.
i'm on GS
Actually had not noticed the update, so it suddenly started working when I started up the game again.
Right now, we haven't had a chance to look because we did not own the expansion.
If it's possible (and it should be) the mod will be updated soon so that it will work in GS :)
