@Rainbow Dash There is an amazing plugin called TerraxLighting for RPG maker MV. I'd suggest checking it out and showing the plug in maker some support

lighting? I do not currently know how to create
"spotlight" effects in my games in dark rooms; please
tell me how to do that. :(

I enjoyed the story and the game's setup! I haven't played all of it, but it's atmosphere is fascinating enough for me to want to return. :)
