I am sad about his death too..In my opinion,Gandrayda just wanted to make a few jokes but not to offend Samus.Ghor didn't show much affection,but I'm sure he appreciated Samus too.

People are sad that Rundas died because he was the most friendly with Samus than the other Hunters, Ghor kept to himself and only helped Samus by killing a Beserker, and Ganymedra (However you spell it) mocked Samus's name and was mostly a showoff. Rundas however, saved Samus on multiple occasions, such as destorying Space Pirate Dropships that were attacking her, Offering Samus help after he reactivated his generator, and saving her from falling to her death after she defeated Ridley.

Everyone hates that Rundas died. Nobody cares about the others though because they're not COOL

well i wish rundas didn't die he was a bit of a badass as well with noxus
