They benefit from technologies boosting Foot Squires, not Men-at-Arms. That might be the cause.

another thing, it seems late game that all my vanilla men at arms unit surpass the units of this mod in most of the stats, only the lost sons have stats that are reasonably better than the vanilla cav late game.

for some reason im rolling with serjeant greatswords that have 22 melee attack and 20 melee defense, is this normal? my men at arms without shields are better then them at this point since ive researched tech to make them better

Hi, is there any chance that you could make a mod with just the yeomen please. The reason being that I'm currently using a mod that gives me units that are similar to the serjents.

Thank you sir. But why change it ? If I may say so myself I think that's the most logical option for them anyway. They are a heavy infantry just like squires so it perfect sense they are in the same class.

@Stofffe92 I'll update images soon. The Mounted Yeomen Archers are the exact same as the regular Mounted Yeomen Archers apart from their arrows, just like dismounted Yeomen Archers

I did not know this since I haven't tried the mod out yet. But I will now. Thank you for letting me know. ^^ Do you think you could update the screenshots of them with their new name as a result?

Also, did you add anything unique to your versions of the Mounted Yeomen Archers with fire and pox arrows, stats wise, traits wise and/or aesthetics wise? What is the difference between them and the base game's Mounted Yeomen Archers with fire and pox arrows?

Serjeant Swordsmen, have maces contrary to the unit-classification & name, you could always split them up into "Serjant Macemen" (armor piercing) and "Swordsmen" (greater damage, poor armor pierce)

But I want to say I like the units. Maybe something fun and unique could be done with the Mounted Yeomen since there already are fire- and pox arrow Yeomen, although I am not quite sure what that would be. Maybe something related to colors, unqiue textures and coats of arms? Perhaps some cool unique traits as well to make them stand out further from normal Mounted Yeomen with fire and pox arrows.
