Uh, I haven't tried running it yet, but when I launched the game the console told me that I don't have Hegemony Rome: Rise of Ceasar and that the mod depends on files from it, and it will probably crash if I try to play.

Yeah, I never played MP games as teenager. Then someday I tried it and it got me. From then on Games without MP get boring for me very fast sadly...

Actually I started as Etruscans, challenging star position indeed :) but after initial failure now I am getting good ground against Rome..

Of those who play this mod just wondering how many have Heg. Rome and all its DLC installed ? If so would you be keen to have some of the exrta units from HR added ? I'm thinking Roman Legionaries and Spanish Falcata, Berber horsemen, African shield guys and archers..

Hi Sirmic. Glad to hear you're enjoying it. Took a lot of work, as you could imagine. Thanks for " spreading the word"
Regarding the hegemony goals - these are autogenerated by the game engine. I had to mod them to disable them as they were causing spam messages when playing as Rome or Carthage. The problem was that when starting with 10 or so settlements, as you can do with these factions, you constantly got messages to notify you of acheiving hegemony goals. It was very distracting.

Hi, great mod. I really appreciatte historicity (!), new bulidings and troops, events, generals, skill tree, map etc. Love the scale of units which now really allows you play more tactically This is very immersive as being in the middle of Punic wars history realities, thank you very much for this effort! Really hope for further historical scenarios.. I will spread the word about this mod on other historical games forums.

Bug?: I play as Syracuse and my next hegemony goal is to conquer all natiev lands of 2 factions. I have almost all sicily(only two westernmost Carthagians cities) at my grasp but the goal is still 0/2. (I destroyed Himera and Native sicilians and Mamertines and took all their lands. Is it bug or I miss something? Maybe the issue is because I have conquered Hilmar and Natives before getting the Hegemony goal?

Events are in 3 categories: generic, faction specific, and historically based. To say more would be a spoiler.
