Nu fungerar nedladdning via länkarna igen. Du måste manuellt placera filerna i mapparna som anges ovan. Steam nedladdningen har jag aldrig fått fungera för detta spelet. Steams support hänvisar till utvecklaren och utvecklaren hänvisar till Steam så har inte fått någon hjälp där över åren med problemet. Så nedladdnings-sajten är B-planen. Tyvärr är nedladdning bara gratis i 30 dagar. Hoppas det fungerar för dig. Var ett tag sedan de gjordes. :)

Modden är nerladdad men funkar inte. Länkarna ovanför kostar ju pengar om jag ska ladda ner. Hur får jag det till att fungera i spelet?

@Sigge - Kolla så du lägger filerna du laddar ner i rätt mapp. Fil nr 2 ovan är den som gör att Sverige blir valbart.

@Jocke - You are in the wrong folder. The folder you mention have the save files, screenshots and so on. Search for another one. You should be in the folder where the Democracy3.exe file is. I remember I had a hard time finding it the first time to.

@Beo: I managed to download the first file from the link above now and place it in the Democracy 3 folder. I managed to download the second file as well, but I dont have a \data\mods folder. The only folders I have under Democracy 3 are _unpack, debug, overrides, patches, savegames, screenshots, steamfriends and now also Sweden.

When I open the game the mods browser lists the Sweden mod as active, but I cant choose it in the play menu.

@Jocke - It isnt possible to download the mod via Steam. Contains no files. You need to download via the alternative download site when the files are availible there. You should have such a folder somewhere. I know folders can be hard to find when it comes to Steam-games. Might be in your Program (x86) folder for example?

Your download links appear to be broken. None of them say that they contain any files.

Managed to download the mod from Steam instead, and I've activated the Mod in-game and restarted the game, but Sweden still wont appear as a playable alternative? I had a look in the different folders of the game, but I don't even have a folder called democracy3/data?

@Captaincrash20 - Use the alternative downloads and put the files manualy into the correct folders as per the description above and it should work.

You have to turn on the mods you actually want to use in an in-game menu. The same thing works for official DLC

The mod is installed but Sweden does not appear as an option when starting a new game. How do I get that option?

Jag skulle vilja ladda ned din modd för att kunna köra modden med mina eleven på deras samhällskunskapslektioner. Eftersom vi har köpt en studentlicens av programmet har eleverna inte tillgång till Steam versionen. Försökte ladda ned filerna men det gick inte. Finns det någon möjlighet att fixa?

Alternative download isn't working since only premium users can download "free version" has expired.

Fixed a bug with the path to the name list that might had caused the game to crash when loading. Should work properly now.
