So, not sure if there is a conflict with another mod (Lemurian Architecture), but I have yet to find any copper ore. Mentioned the other mod as it added Limestone to the game. Is the stone nods the only way to get copper ore, or are the other ways?

I think we might be having a compatiblity issue with 'Immerse RP & Building Decor' on our server. We're not receiving copper ore from stones, only Immerse's copperstone. :-/

@bijay nope, it will also take quite some time until it`s done. There is no ETA for it since I`m busy with finals stuff and also have some other time consuming stuff coming up in the near future.

That`s also why the Creatures-Update is not out yet. I might settle for an "add the new stuff"-patch first and push the other planned things like static poses and pedestals (which I already started working on) back a bit, depends on the time factor tbh. One way or another, you can expect an update mid next week.

A heads-up for the near future:
The general plan is to start implementing all the new stuff from the launch update into my mods once I get home on monday ASAP.
Once that`s done I´ll look into working on more variations for each mod. For this one, I´ll start out with adding static poses for every creature (some are already implemented IIRC) as well as double checking these default animations we just talked about. Also the "pedestals-idea" from a few weeks back is something I wanna go for, just need to get into the "creative groove" :D

Short version:
was available in toolkit, didn`t work in january, gotta double check soon

Long version:
The toolkit comes with a bunch of poses/animations available by default for all sorts of creatures so back then (January) I just grabbed some examples to see if implementing those was possible (which obviously is :D). Last time I checked tho, not all of the poses/animations were working after "cooking" the mod and I actually remember that a laying pose for hoofed animals was one of them which resulted in a gazelle just standing there like a stuffed animal. Although with the official launch there was a toolkit update so I have to and will check that part out again.

Technically it is also possible to add custom STATIC poses like the conan guy at the desert merchant by 3D-modelling the existing meshes but thats quite tricky and time consuming for me so that doesn`t have a very high priority although I wanna follow up on the NPC-idea one day. No clue about actual animations tho.

I have no idea what would go into something like this but is it possible to add some relaxed poses for some animals? I just think it would look awesome to have some panthers or pack of wolves laying around my throne like the tigers you find in game.

well, i hit a bug where all my placables disappeared..and all my structures... so that's one way to get rid of it i suppose:rcry:

uuuhmmm shoot it? :D jokes aside, sounds to me like you accidentally placed it on a surface (could even be a small pebble e.g.) with an ~90° angle or sth like that so your best shot would be to look for the original placement box/spot until the standard interaction menu for placeables pops up and then smash it with a steel tool. The hitbox SHOULD be on the ground IIRC and the flying path is just animation stuff. Sadly I can`t double check until tuesday. Good luck Exile! Lemme know how it went ;)

I placed a couple of the flying vultures and one is flying vertical circles into the ground and i can't seem to get rid of it. Any suggestions?

Updated to Version 1.2.2

Fixed a bug where you were unable to get "newly introduced" items like Aloe seeds etc. from their respective sources.

i meant the sort of pedestal thing (sorry about not being clear but english is not my native language :D ) but you're right that would take away felxibility. Having seperat variants would be awesome but also a lot more work I'm guessing so just do what you think is best and you enjoy doing 'cause that's more important then having a pedestal or not ;) Besides, just having static versions is the most important thing to me, the rest is extra ;D

You sould be able to place all objects/creatures from my mods on pretty much everything as long as their collision boxes are compatible. Technically I could put the static creatures on some sort of pedestal (not quite sure if I got your desciption correctly :D ) by default but that would also take away flexibility for players. Guess I would/will just add separat variations of pedestals or "mountable structures" aswell so everybody can design stuff on their own. I put it on the list ;)

ps: at the risk of being annoying: one last questionb/suggestion regarding static creatures...
would it be possible to actually mount them on say a piece of wood (like a tabletop, leaving away the legs of the table)? Just a suggestion though^^

IIRC u can "pause" the animation in the dev kit and use it as static pose so it should be possible

ps: I don't know the first thing about modding (exept that it can be difficult) but when you get around to making static versions, would it be possible to have some, like say the kudu, be static in an action-pose (like attacking)?

alright, there seems to be an issue with tools/weapons hold in you mainhand to not switch your character into "attack mode" so they can`t be used. Unfortunately I currently don`t know what causes that problem. There is a workaround tho until this is fixed.

WORKAROUND:
Select your tool of choice first, then select a basic Bone Shield for your Offhand. Deselect the shield and the tool should work as intended until you deselect it again.

I know it`s a pain in the ass and I hope to fix this ASAP. Sorry for the inconvenience!

Hey there, not sure if this happens to anyone else: it looks like after installing this mod the tools and weapons in the hotbar stop working. I've removed all the other mods I had, started a new game with just this one loaded and same issue - you can punch and run but as soon as you put something like a weapon or a tool in the hotbar you can't do anything with them. Works OK again after removing this mod.

Great mod tho', many thanks for your work. Hopefully you can keep expanding it with more creatures and animals - would be cool having some like the new grey apes or the werehyenas to put in cages for decoration :-)

Sorry for the lack of communication! The whole project is on hold for now and I won`t be able to work on anything until the end of May unfortunately. I`ll try to update the current versions after the launch of the game but no new stuff will be added due to lack of time until early June. Thanks for your patience!

Testing this mod at my server but all the creature deco had no animations :( i also did reset my feats, anyone else with this issue?

quick heads-up: the NPC update will be delayed a couple of weeks since I`m prepping for my semester exams right now and these dudes require more worktime than I initially expected.

Unfortunately there probably (90%) won`t be an option to dress these guys with ingame cloths (it's technically possible but I can`t get it to work), instead there will be a bunch of "default" options with different poses/animations you can choose from.

static NPCs is something that will definitely happen at some point in the next couple of weeks cuz I also wanna have them in my village :D For now I´m gonna finish up the crafting polishing and thrall integration first and we go from there.
I´m not sure about the dressing part tho. I glanced a conversation about that in the modding discord but didn`t catch the conclusions. We will see when we get there.
