I'm still glad you made it because without you, the maps for this game would be even less. There's 6 maps and you made 3 of them, but for the workshop there's only 8 items. You did great.

@kii I don't remember! I probably worked on it on and off for two or three weeks?

How long did it take to make :O?

Yeah haha, I think I was definitely pushing the limits of how much the deck would handle at a time... batch files are definitely useful in this case, which weren't used at all in the main game. They're like blinks, but you can execute them via the deck (like grouping sets of commands)

I didn't imagine the idea of this one being that hard, but it's quite the inconvenience when you have so many commands happen at once that the instructions just stop halfway through. It looks like I absolutely need to use blinks to segment my instructions. It reminds me the game doesn't let me copy and paste commands.

Thanks for playing! Glad you enjoyed :) It's undoubtedly cruel, that single puzzle probably warrants its own map.

A work of cruel beauty or beautiful cruelty. The security room puzzle in particular is remarkable. This is a magnificent piece of work

Awesome. That timing puzzle was nuts. I had to use two separate blink commands to fit all the code.

That's strange. I'll definitely look into it, but I suspect it's due to the combination of the lighting and the scale of things and not your computer. For now I would encourage you to use the console noclip to bypass (at least) the pneumotube room (if you enter Room 201 and press the button by the orange door it'll keep it open permanently). And if you still can't reach gate2, maybe noclip to it instead. Sorry to have made you crash! :steamsad:

If you're on about the f1 button, it's not actually noclip, but a free camera that allows you to see past everything.

Ah I see what I missed now. To think that there was a hint in the description of the level all along...

Unfortunately, for some reason the game keeps crashing befoe I manage to open gate2. I repeated the level several times and it only seems to crash when I reach the satellite. Is it because of my computer specifically or is it actually a bug? I want to avoid using the 'noclip' feature since I don't want to bypass all the really cool puzzles in the map, so I was wondering if you have a solution to this problem.

Hey! Thanks for the nice words. I'm glad you liked the pneumotube puzzle too! I found it kind of strange that they weren't used again after the Satsuma level, so I tried to imagine how a more complex version would look, and ended up overdoing it :steamhappy:

As for the door code, you're on the right track, you can only access Room 201. I just wanted to add a logical looking reason why you couldn't just open Room 202 :) So the puzzle continues from Room 201 (don't forget your breathing apparatus ;) )
TheWizard_7526 19 Jan, 2018 @ 11:38am
First things first, I really like the aspect of planning a heist on a apace hotel. I also really enjoyed the added feature of interactive monitors (especially the files under Extra Fun ;)), and I found the pneumotube puzzle to be just the right level of complexity.

After getting the briefcase though, I'm currently at a loss on how to get the brainbox. I managed to get the door code for room 201, and I can't seem to switch to room 202 since the terminal is locked. It says that I need a password to unlock the terminal, but I have no clue as to what that password is, or how to input it into the computer. Any help?

Keep it up dude!

The workshop definitely needs more maps! I'm not the best, but I hope to keep making more :steamhappy:

Ditto.

Great to see someone still making great mods for a great game :-D
