@ Winnie the Pooh - Thanks. I which there was more I could do with it though.
Plus I think the original creator uses a trick or exploit or something, since the "Black Colour" only consists of two colours, not 8, which seems to be physically impossible, given on how Bitmaps work and how AoE2 handles it. Regardless, it still would require modding the DAT.
Outside of trying to convince the developers to change the Graphic System outside of Bitmaps, the only other possibility is to basically reconstruct the Palette by hand so that there can be a Black player gradiant without affecting the other Player Colours. But to truly implement this, requires use of a DAT mod AND I would have to recompile EVERY SLP file in the game to make it compatable with the new palette, which is tens of thousands of files.
