@Kitten yeah it should fix that, it's the english localization file that affects all that stuff and it's been updated now.

This mod was also causing a problem with stuff not showing up on the TK techs on the research page. Not sure if the fix mentioned below fixes that, too (haven't checked).

Hi, I found a bug that only occurs with your mod enabled with the TK release patch; the text for the faction effects on the new Skaven LL are missing, when you go to start a new Vortex or mortal empires campaign. I think there may be a conflict somewhere.

hmm, that's strange. Maybe because I updated the english loc file to add the overcast text back. I can put back the old version as a different mod for chinese users, would you like that?

@MrFestis did you go into a battle and check or did you just look at the skills page? Because it doesn't show as being able to overcast on there, I have to work on that still. If you actually had the points in and weren't able to overcast in battle, then it's definitely a conflict, can't know which without knowing which mods you have running.

I am running a bunch of other mods aswell. The one I thought was most likely to conflict was JR's Old World Skill Overhaul mod, but disabling it didn't change things. Other than that, I don't have any mods that affect skill trees, I think.

@MrFestis weird, in my testing it seemed to be save compatible, but that may have been an old build now that I think about it. Did you start a new save and it worked fine then?

@visceraltwist This might be obvious, but I tried loading this mod into my existing Vampire Counts game (after I found out about its existence) to see if my Strigois (without any skill points put further into their magic lines than the opener, e.g. Invocation of Nehek) and nothing changed. I even tried recruiting a new Strigoi and nothing changed. So you could put "Not save compatible" in the description if you want :)

it seems strange to me that the ghoul king does not buff his ghouls anymore than any other undead lord. i like useing him but would use him more if he gave buffs to ghouls and horrers

It should work with anything, I don't know enough to know if it was fixed by SFO but it should be easy enough to check. If SFO doesn't change Ghoul Kings it should work fine.

But they didn't fix it with a patch. They simply didn't update them when they switched to the new system. Anyway, let's agree to disagree, I'm not changing the title.

in Warhammer 1 you only had the spell, and the ''upgrade'' version which was reduce cooldown and nothing else. They changed a lot of things for casters, why not finally making them a little more lore friendly now? If you can ''fix'' it with this mod they can fix it with a patch without giving ''excuses''.

Oh, then why weren't they changed for custom battles or multiplayer? And why were they not designed that way in the first game? And why did they even create an overcast version of their summon if it's impossible to use it? Having looked through the files, it's obvious that they just forgot to update the unique lores and then came up with a plausible reason not to have to do it.

These 2 were meant to be like this... to represent the fact that they arent as good with magic as other casters. It's not a bug at all. I mean you can change it if you want to, but that's not a ''fix''
