This mod is a great way to make your game more immersive and realistic, especially for thieving types!

God I was wondering about a mod like this. I mean, in Bleak Falls Barrow, anyone remember that Bandit that pulled the lever and got killed by a barrage of darts? (dumbass never solved the most easiest puzzle), those darts barely do anything to the main character... kinda felt awkward. :/

That and the Barrows in Ivarstead. Open the door, run through... and have spikes IMPALE YOU!! Something like that should kill you. (Jigsaw anyone?) Awesome mod! Brings out realism in it. b(^v')z

sometimes if i am smart enough i can jump on traps...but when i activate it i jump and i don't get hurt 1% .

i want this just for the poison darts lol they where way to weak and should have done more than 1% o your health so ty for makeing skyrim better

Just what it says on the box, at least so far as I've tested; those few instances make me disinclined to deliberately run face first into any spike walls or stand directly in front of most chests when i open them. Realistic traps are meant to kill intruders, not give them an owie. If you disagree... well, why are you here? Great immersive mod.

A few types of traps I have encountered do not actually kill and seem to do normal damage. Among these types of traps I have encountered: spike ones, and a few others I forgot as I have bad memmory. I thought you should know.

This mod makes you think about where you step with consequences if you screw up. I like it. Stop complaining about how powerful they are, its all in the name :p

Coming back to agree that the spell and poisoned arrow traps are far too powerful. My level 66 tank character used up almost all of his potions (at least 20 ultimate/vigourous healing) after dealing with a single poisoned trap and was still losing health at a silly rate, whereas the simple ones like bear traps, battering rams and swinging spike doors do a couple of millimetres' worth of damage. I don't think the magical/poisoned traps need bringing back to vanilla damage, but they definitely need toning down by a hell of a lot.
These aren't strictly complaints, but I think it'd be good to experiment and see what people prefer. We all clearly want more damage from traps, but not so much that we use up all our healing gear and then die anyway. :T

The only traps I saw this work on were the spell traps. Swinging axes, spears, and other traps did nothing. Please reverse this, the spell traps did not need the help...

Does this work for all traps? I just got hit with a spike trap and it just grazed my health. It was normal damage for sure.

there is a mod that uses trips and can craft them already but its part of a larger mod, a single mod only for traps would be good

Oh, I thought this would only be for bear-traps. :c Never mind, I'll give this a go and see how I like it. Just wondering though, do you think there's any possibility that you might also do a mod solely for bear-traps some day? (I know spells are just as dangerous as physical weapons, but I spend a heck of a lot of time going through dungeons and I think I'd find it a bit of a chore having to buff my character up every time I want to make a bit of cash from looting trapped crypts.)

I had to disable it just to make it possible to get past certain missions. It's a great idea, but the destruction spell traps do not need the boost at all. They're already pretty deadly on their own.

You may want to adjust a few things here. You know those traps that shoots spells at you? DEAD IN TWO SECONDS OR LESS. Took resist fire and a ton of healing to survive a flame trap. (Not fireball or firebolt, just normal flame.) And I was taking no damage from the battering ram traps.

Sounds very Interesting, its deffs something i have wanted to happen. i would like to hear a response to knife and "a bum with no teeth or pants" tho. if it was all traps it would be a little over kill.

Thank you for this... it JUST MAKES SENSE. Much like Knife stated; I never got got the point of a trap that bearly did any damage, even at a low level. Now I'll be more careful :)

I always wondered: "Okay, i'm not wearing any boots right now, and i just walked over a bear trap...and I'm still walking?" This mod also makes the light feet perk worthwhile. (And lets you use traps more strategically.)

Love the idea, but do ALL traps kill you? Even bear traps? What about falling rocks that you avoid but still seem to damage you when you walk past motionless ones? What about fire traps vs fire resistance? Please explain. Does the mod make ALL traps deadly, or just much more harmful (which seems more realistic than both extremes)
