I agree, its sorta strong. If it was like public 3d printing to work and when off it stops climbing in till turned back on.

I like the idea but this seems broken OP. It'd be something else if this was an infinite build like public 3D printing but overall? Seems a bit dodgy at best.

Oh dang, I think I'll just use this instead of worrying about Kaizen workflows. They look to do the same thing, except this one only works and increases as long as it is active.

That was already suggested and I already tried to accomplish that one in the past, but wasn't able to do it at that time; also, I'm out of modding, so I probably won't give my attention to this. Appreciate your effort though. Maybe a good idea would be asking someone else to do it.

If I'm allowed to suggest a mod Idea for your next mod, could you do one that converts science to food and/or industry, since late game science is a useless resource, and it'd be nice for it to not be that way.

Well i just checked in Developer Mode with only this mod Enabled and they build it so its not a bug caused by onther mods

I'm aware of AI fidsi tweaks on higher difficulties. "Be stomped at turn 10" - that is somewhat strange for me to hear, I always play on Endless and tbh didn't feel that AI is op with this mod, but anyway if ppl complain I'll disable it for the AI. The cost will remain unchanged, bc the idea behind it is to have this improvement right from the start when colony is acquired.

to respond to that question, The way that the game balances AI at higher difficulties, in conjunction with the abysmal Diplomacy calculations, this improvment represents too early of a power swing upwards for the AI, the AI tends to expand quicker at harder levels, and with a cost of 200 Construction, for basically limitless FIDSI growth is way too powerful. I think if you changed it so that it scales with System level and make it cost about the same as a mid-level system improvement (something like 2200 or so) it would be more balanced, because that way you have time to join/start an alliance so you dont get stompped at turn 10

This mod has nothing to do with "races", it's a star system improvement. It's available from the start, so yeah technically you can say that it can be used with custom races, and with bunch of all other stuff (literally everything out there)

Considering that tech is rather late in the game, I would say this problem is lessened quite a bit. One could always tack it onto one of the Endless techs.

Well, I would say that's somewhat strange: to base cost on the "lore" and not on the effect.
What if the lore is similar to some Endless Wonder, would it cost 40k? What if lore is similar to Drone Networks, would it cost 120?

I definitely will not mess with tech wheel. But, how much do you think it should cost and reason why? Tbh this improvement should be considered as cheaty, because it resolves any problem with dust or influence upkeep, while also promoting stable growth on sterile planets and production on cold ones.
