One of my first and also favorite mods of this game. Even managed to persuade my (so far only) Warhammer Coop friend to install it :)
Warhammer III without it wont be the real deal. Hope you will be able to port it over

I am fine as it is. You can always download the modding tools, download my mod and use my mod as a template for what you want.

Eventually you'll just going to have to come into terms that if you're going to want what you want, you're going to have to attempt to pursue it yourself. That's how I started modding.

Ah, I see.. well if I find a vanilla gunpowder effect thats increased but not as much as a cannon, will you consider changing it to that?

I think the reason I have the gripe is because it makes the guns look way more powerful than they are, lol.. I use a mod that does make them more powerful but they give off just as much smoke as a cannon!

I changed the muzzle flash from basic musket to cannon. Pretty much.

How were you able to increase it in the first place? Aren't you able to do the same thing but with reduced amount? Does each unit has its own "projectile_displays"?

I can't reduce it by just 50%. You use a pre existing VFX of sorts. I have no clue how to make custom ones, if it's even possible :(

I'm not a modder and nor have I got the time to become one, I was very happy when i saw the mod because the guns *do* need that extra "oompf" to them. But I got irritated when I saw it had been overdone on the hand held guns, other members in the unit shouldn't even be able to see their target when his buddy has just shot with the amount of smoke that comes out

I'm still using it because its better than vanilla. And I'm not thick, I can read descriptions.

I would suggest reducing the smoke effect for hand held firearms by about 50%, the flash effect is good and doesnt need adjusting. Its just that the hand guns look like smoke cannons when they fire

I used ingame assets. Do you think I created the smoke effect myself? Feel free to go about a smoke and fire mod yourself. Maybe you're the chosen one.

And I dont use any launchers other than the ca launcher. Too many problems , theyre all garbage and merging mods is more trouble than its worth. So I just run 48 mods anyway.

All the other mods wok fine. Graphicaally its just between this and gccm. but i disabled everything and ran this only. still the same old game smoke effectd from vanilla game. really cheesy and garbagy lookin.

Yep upto date. I remember when it used to work. The field looked like a heavy cover of fog just like napoleon total war, when you have gunners and artillery constantly popping off

@Warmonger Really? hm, I actually haven't noticed that it doesn't work. For me it works though. Using any other mod that may mess up the mod? Disable all mods and use ONLY this one and test in custom battle.

Update on compatibility: It's not a compatibility issue. CA recently lowered mod limit to about 50-60. Merging some mods made them work again.
