Just came here to say everyone complaining about lack of alternative transformations in 2015 of all times: Youre a buncha donkeys. There were plenty of werewolf alternatives back then. This is a book mod first and foremost. You people are just annoying neckbeards. "Gee wilikers why doesnt this Milk mod made me Superman?!" My god the logic here..

Downloading! I'm excited for when the quest will come out, seeing as I'm pretty much obsessed with werewolves and the like. I even went to great lengths to get my Dungeons and Dragons character (one of them, anyway) to become a weretiger xD

The quest didnt start for me. I got and read the journal and even traveled to his house but nothing.

try make at map inside one of the books there lead you to a cave with werewolf like armor and when you take it on you will be a werewolf

And to be fair to the author, the book does feature other types of shape shifters too, not just werewolves, I just focused on the Werewolf stories. :)

true not that worryed about it's not a big deal. i'm not a fan of some of the hollywood style or that twlight trash werewolfs

@DeadRyu: You obviously only know of the Hollywood version of werewolves. A lot of werewolves in lore and legend are in fact true shape-shifters (by your definition), using magic or enchanted clothing, often a belt made out of wolf hide, to transform into the shape of a wolf.

Also, if you wish to dispute the author's terminology please take it up with him as I quite honestly don't have the power or the desire to change Brad Steiger's work.

to let you know a shape shifter is a monster that change to mutliple forms at will such as turning in to another person a werewolf is a werewolf when they bite you or scratch you and you survive you are infected with lyconthrope. Shapeshifters can't infect you for one they tend to eat the entire person and take there form for awhile. The Encyclopedia of Shape-Shifting Beings lol, shapeshifter's and werewolfs are diffarent things.

@alpha.nubilus It's a great book, I've been thinking of working on this mod again, getting the quest fully implimented, adding more from the book, just haven't had the time lately to figure out how to do what I want to do :\

Wow! Thanks for adding the book! Brad is a dear friend of mine, and I'm gonna have to show him this mod. While I'm sure he wouldn't know heads nor tails about Skyrim, I'm sure he'd still get a kick out of the mod itself. Also note, I wrote a few articles in the new edition. Cool man. Thanks!

@Dec450 I've been busy lately and too lazy to learn the scripting langauge, I'll probably start working on it on my next days off.

When do you plan to update this and add the quest, it looks like a very interesting quest and I hope that you will finish it soon :)

LOVE the content in the books and another personal shack. AWESOME job, keep it up!

next update should also have the wolfsbane potion from harry potter. when you use it the next time you transform only people like bandits, vampires, rouge wizards and vigilants of stendarr attack you.
