subscribe to it, make sure you haven't subscribed to any other mods that change the desperado skin, enter game, if it doesn't work then tough luck, some say it doesn't

Hehe, actually the red is exactly the same as the original, I tried to coat it with a deeper red but it did't look natural, it just looked painted on. Also yes, I have layered backups of the images so I can remove the image on the back. It does look unnatural and over-the-top for the age but that's how I wanted it.

looks really good, the desperados are finally a bit more red instead of the washed out red in the standard skin, but the picture on the back doesnt really fit. Would a version without it be possible? Then it would basically be a more team colored alteenative to the standard skin

Or try to reinstall the game or unsubscribe, then lauch the game, then quit, subscribe and launch again

Worked for me and my brother
Also make sure your Fistful of Frags/fof/custom folder doesn't have stuff that might overwrite the desperado skin (only an issue when you've tried modding yourself)
