Combat testing starts in a week or two, at least. Then campaign testing not too long after that.
Ghostmar 9 Jun, 2018 @ 9:58am
Any update on when the campaign Episode 1 will release?

TommyGun  [author] 23 Jan, 2018 @ 3:06pm
The teased ruined version of Fort Joy (derived from the Chronicles of Divinity campaign) is being worked on these days. We hope to publish it to you guys as soon as possible. The past few weeks have been all about pushing Episode 1 towards release.

@TommyGun thanks man, going to sign up as we speak.
TommyGun  [author] 4 Dec, 2017 @ 2:53am
@Mortis - Thank you! I'll be sharing more playtest details on the forum post, here: http://larian.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=629500#Post629500 .

All mods disable achievements (trophies) though this one is only for Game Master and there's no achievements there as far as I know. But for mods who do, you can use this mod (It's the same guy who did SKSE for Skyrim and F4SE for Fallout, so he's legit.)

https://www.nexusmods.com/divinityoriginalsin2/mods/210/?

If you have suggestions or ideas, again forums is a nice place, or you can make a discussion thread on this steam page if you like :steamhappy:

Thanks for your interest!
Mortis 3 Dec, 2017 @ 10:04pm
I love the idea behind this. Being a Story teller of different games I like when others take what is there and add flavor to it. I have 3 questions. How does one sign up for the play test of the first ep? If I add this to my connection is it going to take away from the trophy's earned (meaning does it stop giving me them), and is there away to suggest origins or background tags to you guys?
Sench 3 Dec, 2017 @ 7:46pm
This must be one of the most ambitious modding projects I have ever seen, on par with a proper expansion. Thank you for doing this and sharing it with the community.
TommyGun  [author] 3 Dec, 2017 @ 6:16pm
Haha I wish. Thanks man.😊
Dima 3 Dec, 2017 @ 6:06pm
@Masterpeing Hey man, I actually know what went into making CoD (Chronicles of Divinity), the time and dedication. Tommy put in long hours and is light years ahead of our modding community. I'm not going to spoil any surprises, but anyone who plays Episode 1 is in for a treat and that didn't come from copy/paste jobs, that came from weeks of long days figuring out how to do something unique you didn't even think was possible in DoS2. I say put your money where your mouth is and release your own mod of this caliber because if it's a fraction of what Tommy is doing, then I would love to play it as well. BTW, Tommy, has Larian Studios offered you a paying gig yet?!
TommyGun  [author] 3 Dec, 2017 @ 5:11pm
Thank you for the compliment! No, these are in fact completely new maps built from scratch. But that you are unable to tell if they're from the original game or not is quite an astonishing compliment to everyone who worked on them.

Good luck with that bitterness though.
Masterpeing 3 Dec, 2017 @ 4:51pm
this isnt a mod , thsi is a copy paste blatant, join to nexus or modd db for search what a is a mod fk off and bye
TommyGun  [author] 3 Dec, 2017 @ 3:58pm
"They" meaning me, along with two others contributing. This is a mod, and I'm sorry to hear you don't like mods and wish to show disservice to what you claim to be a fan of. Wish you a good evening though.
Masterpeing 3 Dec, 2017 @ 3:54pm
nice but at last they dont want money for this cause they arent the creators or developoers. id ont like the idea that the have fame for a work for other iam a true hard fan and i will downvote and report this . thanks
TommyGun  [author] 3 Dec, 2017 @ 1:29pm
Ah yes, if that was your question @Masterpeing, we are indeed the developers of Chronicles of Divinity too. It just makes little sense to hold back the maps who are meant to be available for GM as well while we continue working on the main campaign, so I've ported them over in a separate map collection mod (this).
Tiqon 3 Dec, 2017 @ 1:10pm
It shouldn't be legal, so good they are.... :P.

Masterpeing, I think you misunderstand this. These guys are making a solo game from the editor, and now they give everyone the maps they have made for the solo game before the sologame is released, but without any content from the solo game, for people to use in GM mode. So yeah its as legal as can be, they made them.
TommyGun  [author] 3 Dec, 2017 @ 12:50pm
Legal? :P
Masterpeing 3 Dec, 2017 @ 12:46pm
its this legal? -_-
TommyGun  [author] 3 Dec, 2017 @ 7:35am
(Of course, the campaign needs to have the mod(s) you want added and enabled in the cogwheel settings)
TommyGun  [author] 3 Dec, 2017 @ 7:25am
Ah! There's plenty of guides on youtube for starters :) The simple gist is you add a pin to the overview map and bind a level to it.
DragonFist 3 Dec, 2017 @ 7:24am
@TommyGun - Thanks for your answer, I still need to figure out how to add them in the Game Master mode, so far I only played the story moce, so I am pretty new at Game Master mode :)
TommyGun  [author] 3 Dec, 2017 @ 7:06am
@DragonFist - They are addon maps for Game Master mode, to use in your own GM campaigns, or play in others' campaign using the maps :)
DragonFist 3 Dec, 2017 @ 7:00am
This might sound very stupid, but anyone care to tell me how I can play the maps?
TommyGun  [author] 2 Dec, 2017 @ 1:48pm
Two new maps added! :) A pirate themed cave and a mid-construction basement.

@Richard

Hmm I normally just use a campaign to test new maps and I check and uncheck what I need right now and dont (so I uncheck all but the mod I want to look at). This is the same campaign I have used, and at one point I even got Fane to join the party somehow, and he wont go away, even unchecking mods. Anyhoot, I made a new campaign and used ONLY this mod and that works fin. Sorry, I can't tell you what mod this conflicts with. But it's all good :). Thats wahy I have the test campaign, to make sure a mod does not break anything in my "real" campaigns.

I [Insert a word that amplifies my statement, but will hurt some peoples feeling for some reason] LOVE your idea with making water you can see through and the rocks below, that looks so amazing. Consider ider STOLEN! MUAHAHAHAH!
Richard 2 Dec, 2017 @ 12:32am
nice mod
TommyGun  [author] 1 Dec, 2017 @ 6:41pm
Uploaded a hotfix for the Ildheim Prisons pipe and lighting in Lush Cave :)
HUE 1 Dec, 2017 @ 6:08pm
il be sure to keep an eye out for it, hard to find maps with this much quality and effort put into them!
TommyGun  [author] 1 Dec, 2017 @ 6:06pm
Hehe thanks! These are all part of the bigger campaign we're making as an expansion to the original game. Hoping to have the alternate Fort Joy ready for a little Christmas treat. The Isles (unsure if including sailing or not yet, needs testing in GM) will come to GM once the first episode of Chronicles of Divinity comes out :)
HUE 1 Dec, 2017 @ 6:00pm
Will do, and very nice maps, my favorite being the tree top :steamhappy:
TommyGun  [author] 1 Dec, 2017 @ 5:58pm
Sounds likely, that mod came out pretty early on. I added a thread here for mod compatability issues, please refer there further on so we can keep things neat and sorted \o/
HUE 1 Dec, 2017 @ 5:57pm
tried running with only your mods enabled,it worked but the strange "fog of war" from the prison is also present here, took a screenshot to make it more clear https://imgur.com/a/Jrlfe
