Hi, they do work fine, so Titan doesn't have to sort them out... so I bet what you could use is a little extra tip or two ;) So you can either et them grow randomly, which isn't as nice since they just pop up anywhere among your regular buildings, or you can use a mod to force your city to only use exactly what you want it to use. I made just such a special set up that has these buildings as the main building set for High Residential, High Commercial and Office. It's for Christmas but it will do the same thing you want (only grow half timbered and other similar buildings).

Also, click on the Christmas Village collection button ^^^right up there if you want to find some more items that will look great next to Tudor Era buildings like pubs etc
