The video is kinda not make sense, because if a bunch of planes are heading over a place, they should be warned or already been stopped before they could even reach the place.

Response is a bit slow at low speeds, but it can still make it through the rings in the barren expanse without much difficulty. BTW, the 'C' button seems to activate the rapid fire machine gun rather than toggling an engine, while "Shift" delivers a single cannon shot.
