Yes, the Nazis owned it only because germany owned it. Which was controlled by the Nazi party. So technically, yes it was owned by the Nazis.

The Hindenburg was a Nazi zepplin used for transporting passengers that could afford the tickets. It wasnt a bomber blimp or anything like that. The Nazis owned it but it did not have any bombs. For everyone arguing in the comments

are you sure ? The airship flew from March, 1936 until it was destroyed by fire 14 months later on May 6, 1937 while attempting to land at Lakehurst Naval Air Station in Manchester Township, New Jersey at the end of the first North American transatlantic journey of its second season of service with the loss of 36 lives. soruce wikipedia

yes the LZ 129 Hindenburg was a nazi (3rd reich) CIVIL passanger airship, it was manufactured from 1931 to 1936, First flight was in march 4. 1936 and it was destroyed in fire in may 6.1937 in Lakehurst (New Jersey, USA)
