@HK-HunterKiller - Yeah, that would be awesome. because even if it's not fully finished I think that a lot of people like me would use it !

I was hoping to polish things a bit more and maybe optimise some of the code, but I don't think I'll have any time for that in the near future, so I guess I could just create an example mission and a manual and release it as things are now.

@HK-HunterKiller - Your job look amazing but is there a chance to see this mod being release an then have a sample mission for configuration ? Thank you.

@HK_HunterKiller - no stress

Sorry guys just weeding out the last few remaining issues. I have a lot of other work I'm doing so I can barely find enough time to get this release-ready...

@HK_HunterKiller - any documentation please. Working on a campaign and would like to use your mod - thanks

Is it persistent? I'm running a mercenary unit and I've been desperately searching for an economy module that works

@Feenx-sama that's correct. There is no example folder :) The explanations are designed for a release version, which is not yet complete, but it's near. This is still the test version of the mod I'm afraid and all examples with an instruction manual will be available with the upcoming release version.
psdboi 12. aug. 2019 kl. 10:23
When hovering over "Path To Price Functions" it notes that it's recommended to use the example files in the example folder. However, I can't seem to find an "Example Folder" anywhere. Can you help with this?
K.Hunter  [ophavsmand] 5. juni 2018 kl. 14:03
Glad to hear @phairphax76. Just weeding out some bugs still but I'm aiming to have a true release version with documentation ready within 2 months time.

Money is shared, so players don't have their "own" money. You would need a persistent mod like my module here. http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1207707864

I've never used ALIVE so I can't say what would happen. If you can configure it to save extra variables, it should work.

As for using dynamic mission modules, you would have to do some scripting to interface it with this module so it knows when the task is over and if it's successful or failed, etc. and give you money. Unfortunately, my modules aren't designed for any mission makers that don't know scripting. So if you don't have any scripting knowledge, you probably won't be able to use this module.

Sorry for flooding the comments, but I'm wondering about the money's saving. Does this have it's own ability to save the money for each player? Or do I need you persistent mod, and if I do, how will it interact with other persistent databases like ALiVE do you think?
D.Cub3d 1. dec. 2017 kl. 20:23
And this module is basically exactly what I was looking for, by the looks of it it's increadibly customizable.
D.Cub3d 1. dec. 2017 kl. 20:22
Including dynamically generated missions from dynamic mission creators like Alive, MCC, etc? Sorry, sort of inexperienced with this part of mission making, I've only really worked with modules, though I have done some work in the mission files as well but not much.
D.Cub3d 1. dec. 2017 kl. 20:20
So using that, I can set it up to award the player money based on actions I determine in that variable?
K.Hunter  [ophavsmand] 1. dec. 2017 kl. 17:51
Well you can of course earn money, as long as you script it in the end of a mission/task to give you some money. The biggest issue with the mod now is it needs documentation to show how to do all of that. But adding funds is easy - you just add whatever you want to the variable "Hz_econ_funds" and publicvariable that.
D.Cub3d 1. dec. 2017 kl. 12:20
I ask because this would be a great addition to ALiVE and being able to complete the missions in there and other activities would be nice to gain funds to continue through longer missions.
D.Cub3d 1. dec. 2017 kl. 12:19
I really like this, can players earn money or is it only what they start with right now?
