Also, removing the mod did return my phoenixes to their proper stats.

Just added this to my Scorched Earth server and it reduced all my phoenixes' stats by nearly half. Something to be aware of.
(I know this is an old mod, this was purely an fyi and not calling out an error. Unfortunately, this seems to be the only mod that enables current phoenixes to breed)

Does this mod un-nerf the griffin? noticed my swoop attack has gone from ~500 to ~1000 damage?

what about wyverns?

@Prak Jaws the breedable creatures bundle replaces the dinos while this one alters existing ones. I believe this means in terms of the bundle mod you would have to kill and retame any dinos that are effected to make them breedable or they just disappear upon world load. While in this mod your existing dinos would be effected by the change. On that note I'd like to know if the modmaker for this mod has any plans on adding other dinos, for example I have only found two mods that makes the Karkinos breedable one being the bundle, the other adding much more than breedability and I'm not sure I want it either.

can you add basilisk?

So you are working on the next breeding mod already? I already have a mod that makes Wyverns breedable and it does a perfect job. It's called "Wyverns Mating" and just is perfect. It pretty much sounds like your idea with applying it to existing dinos which should not get removed even if the mod is removed.
Are you actually implying Rock Drakes as well? I'm looking for a mod that does that but I didn't find anything until yet it seems. Breeding mods are a bit of a problem in the workshop but you may be the guy that can do what I want.

@Conflict Gaming - Feel free to use this one for now. The one I'm working on is going to require much more code, as I will not be making changes to any dino. My intent for the next breeding mod is to be usable for any dino, but to make it so that offspring levels are calculated differently than they are now. The intent will be to allow breeding of wyverns, golems, etc, but allowing server admins to configure the "max" level of the baby. The goal is to ensure that dinos that are not supposed to be breedable for balance reasons can be bred and their stats / colors changed, but balance not thrown out the window.

Great mod and amazing work! I know every modder hates being asked this but I am about to suggest a mating mod for the server I play on and was wondering if I should wait for your upcoming mod that you are working on or just go with something for no? Either way no rush, just curious!

like I said, I'm looking to breed Scorpions at the moment - The main reason I dislike S+ version for it is that it doesn't produce babies at all. They just pop out fully grown with no imprinting, but also no real delay before the next generation can be bred.

This does not yet work with other dinos. However, I am working on a mod that will work with anything while keeping balance. For now, I recommend using S+ to make any dino breedable. However, if you're on a server, just note that making things like wyverns, drakes, golems, etc, breedable will severely break balance.

I just want clarification: This works for all dinos, or just for the Griffin and Phoenix? I understand the devkit needs to be updated before any Aberration creatures can be added to it, but I'm specifically looking to breed Scorpions without using one of the mods the replaces the vanilla dino entirely.

ok thanks

We're currently waiting for the new dev kit to arrive before we can do anything like this for the drakes, but yes, I will be making Drakes breedable.
Lilrougarou 30 Dec, 2017 @ 12:37pm
Can you do this with the rock drakes
