Yes, of course. The Castle Age buildings are extracted of a dead mod :D
I am looking forward to your project, since a realistic graphic mod for the Goths would be awesome. Some people seem to confuse Gothic Architecture with the Germanic tribe ... xD
You are right, I could do that in the future.
Thx!
Yes, of course ^^
I think the Africans will get a Mordor Skin. It will look very evil (no racism) :D
Yes, I will improve some buildings at a later time.
The TC's shingle roof was just a temporary solution because the original roof was buggy (I have imported the textures from an unfinished mod).
At the moment, a Harad Unit set is created. Unfortunately I cannot do everything simultaneously :(
Theoretical, giving the set to the Huns would be possible. But now I have decided to use Independent Unit instead of Independent Architecture, so it would change the whole North European set.
But if the data modders combined both mods to one, it could work.
At the moment, I am working with Independent Architecture to have a unique set for civilizations like Gondor.
I am sure that you will agree that unique unit sets would also make a great difference between the civs. But recently there has not been done a mod that allows to have unique buildings and units in one data set (in a game you can only select one, as you probably will know).
Thus, I am unsure whether to wait or to create the graphic mods without Independent Architecture (in the second case, e.g. the whole Western European set would consist of Gondor buildings, but Gondor factions would have different looking soldiers than Harad or the Elves).
Hmm, Hobbits could be representet by AOE1 or AOE2 Alpha units, since they are unusually small. But I do not know exactly how to make a whole civ of them. At least, the above described Independent Unit mod would have to be prioritized.
But it is also correct to take the Indians as another Harad civilization. Therefor I will have to study the LOTR lore a bit :)
At present, I have a lot of issues with some civs I do not know how to integrate into Middle-earth. E. g., the Spanish or the Turks.
Lothlorien will be represented by the Britons, correct. I think, the Vietnamnese will be Mirkwood Elves with the elephants converted to Ents. Sounds strange, but I would prefer peoples for Harad that have access to camel riders.
I love graphical mods. It's like playing an entirely different game
