I'll definitely update it for WH3, I haven't forgotten about it. I'm a little shorthanded on time right now though, don't even have time to play the game.

@kohlrabi, I second the update! I dont know how that is for you, but it really would be awesome to play as either beastmen and recruit chaos(currently has issues with some units) or recruiting beastmen as chaos, but the unit caps/inability to extend them makes that not viable :( Chaos+ beastmen would be a lot of fun!
The mod was a lot of fun, thank you for making it. Even if you dont update, it was great while it lasted :)

Cant Recruit Fimir BaleFiend Or Exhalted Hero As They Dont Show Up On The Buildings
And They Dont Show On The Hero Select Menu .

An issue that I'm having, when I use this mod and I play as Taurox, there is no option to make the building to recruit bray shaman. Instead of recruits forsaken, but it still gives the same spell to destroy walls. I also can't make the building to recruit a chaos sorcerer, so I cant actually make any building that will allow me recruit another caster...any insight or help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

If the lord has a bonus for chaos troops, yes. Otherwise, no.

Yes, that's about it. Makes the mod much more compatible with overhaul mods like SFO.

Ah you've just told the game faction has access to this units! It's easy enough to figure out anyway, there are plenty of guides in the Community pages of this game!

It's true that it's quite easy to use RPFM. But, he won't find any database in this mod with unit upkeep since this mod uses vanilla units.

It's easy enough to do on your own Tenebrae, just download RPFM and work your way through the few databases in this mod until you find upkeep then change the value.

Both the linked mods add new units, rather than adding existing units. That's what I meant with "breaking compatibility". If I added new units rather than using vanilla units, the mod would not work with any mods overhauling unit stats (like SFO), and it would need much more maintenance with every new patch.

Other people have incorporated units into the beastmen cap mechanic without breaking compatibility. But its up to you man.

Yes, a good point. And I agree.
But in order to do that, I would have to change a lot of things around, and it would break compatibility with a lot of other mods.

The prices seem a bit hard for beastmen would have preferred the units with caps like normal beastmen units with no upkeep

I can recruit them without problem. Sounds like a mod conflict? Try disabling other mods and see if the problem persists.

I'm unable to recruit any of them. The unit capacity is displayed as 0/0.

You can recruit an unlimited number of those troops, I think. Use the mod responsibly. :)

Fimir, Skin Wolves and Mammoth don't seem to have a capacity increase added to their respective recruitment building. Really great mod, thanks man.

I'm using "Recruit Beastman as Chaos" too (at the same time).
So I wonder why this happens for you, and not for me . What happens if you disable the "Recruit Beastmen as Chaos" mod?

No, nonononono. I mean having only Recruit Beastmen as Chaos and Recruit Chaos as Beastmen. I already deleted and resubscribed to them multiple times to compensate for any technical error.

Reason why I used those two mods together and are comparing how they work is because in a earlier post in this comments thread you said "Playing Beastmen, and using this mod (with Recruit Beastmen as Chaos enabled), both Wargor, Balefiend and Werekin look perfectly fine in campaign." So I did some testing of my own and it didn't work as it did for you on my end.

Very odd. Can you check the file date on your mod files? Perhaps the mod launcher haven't updated them for you.

Hey, I don't know what to tell yah man, with only these two mods enabled Drycha's all over the damed place in recruiting tabs. Half the time is a proper Balefiend in their tab, but 100% Drycha 100% of the time when it comes to the Wargor Hero.

With only (Recruit Chaos as Beastmen) mod 1 of 4 Balefiends were Drycha. 0 of 6 Wargors were a Drycha.

It's pretty strange that you can't replicate this glitch with your own testing, so, ummm... Yeah... I'd be nice to know if anyone else who uses this mod is getting this glitch... There's 1,000 of you, someone speak up! lmao

I'm also playing the Taurox faction. And I'm using a load of mods, among them Beastmen Basic Benefits .. not the other ones you're mentioning though.

Mod conflicts in this case, would be with mods that had an effect on those particular heroes.
If the mods are up to date or not shouldn't really matter in this case.

It would be odd if the bug is inconsistent. I messed around with the mod, got the bug you mentioned, then changed things back to how they were, and the bug disappeared. And I don't have the bug now. Very odd.

If you have the time, try removing all other mods, and see if the bug still persists.

As for mods, I'm using 27. All except (Spooky's Rakarth Mask) are up to date. Beastmen mods I use are (fixed dread cost), (cheaper dread cost), (Beastmen Basic Benefits), (Living Bronze Taurox), (Bloodwrack Medusa for Beastmen), (Minotaurs - Marks of Chaos [Updated]), and of course, (Recruit Chaos as Beastmen). From what I know about modding, which is very little, they should all be working together fine...

Taurox's faction. It's kinda strange because the glitch isn't consistent, so it's hard to perfectly replicate, I guess... I'll download Recruit Beastmen as Chaos, use the two mods together again and test more. Maybe it's just Taurox's faction.

I'll take another look, and see if I can fix it. Otherwise, I'll probably remove the Balefiend. Such a graphic bug really destroys the gameplay.

Drycha is the Firmir Balefiend model half the time, the other half it's the normal Firmir Balefiend. After rotating through heroes 10 times for Shadows and Fire I was able to finally get a selection of two of the correct model per-magic type.
