Hahaha
Hmmm, I dont know what could be wrong, it works in game for me.
You need to place the fire object then select it and hold alt. Then youll see lines appear on the rabbit and while still holding alt you can click on the part of the rabbit you want to connect it to.
I'm excited to see what you and others will do with this idea. It would be great to have a proper level or even campaign with dark lighting and interactive torches etc.
Great for horror campaigns... extremely hard to set up... (I tried...)
Also, horror campaigns would be hard to make... horrific. but this'll certainly help
Here you can see the flame doesn't sync with the model: http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1199821192
Here i lit myself on fire after doing a full jump: http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1199821189
Thanks. I think the reason the flame went off the stick is because the enemies took the staff. I have a stick object over the actual staff so it may appear that youre still holding it but and enemy could have taken it. I think the flame uses the same burning hotspot as the lava so I'm not sure it would have made a difference anyway.
But there seems to be a bug where your flame lags and doesn't stay on the end of the staff...i lit myself on fire many times just by rolling and jumping.
I think there are molten rocks or something that burn you up only when you touch them, maybe that would be better than flames?
I just connected a fire object to the rabbits hand at the right distance so it would seem to be on top of the staff. That is why it doesnt work right when you drop the staff. ;)
