TearsInRain, could you publish the previous version separately under a different name? (The one that worked well in Civ 6 vanilla before April 23.)

There was. The update fixed the mod for people with Gathering Storm. I'll see what I can do about getting it working again for people without the expansion. Apologies for the disruption.

Playing CIV 6 vanilla. Remove Nukes has worked fine until about 7 hours ago. Now, CIV 6 does not let me play a savegame from earlier today, and the mod Remove Nukes is marked in red colour. If I start a new game, CIV 6 disables Remove Nukes. Maybe there was an update of CIV 6 during the last 7 hours, that makes Remove Nukes incompatible with updated version.

This should hopefully be working properly now. If anyone finds it's still not behaving, please tell me about it here.

Damn. It works for me in the new version of the game without Gathering Storm. I can't test it with the expansion, so I don't know what's breaking. Will update as soon as I have the expansion, which should be later this month.

Hey, I see that the mod was updated, however, when i try starting a game, it keep on failing. When i turn this mod off, the game start fine. Really love the mod, please let me know if theres a fix for it :)

loved it, but since the last update to civ 6 base game it now says not compatible. so sad.

Maybe because GS changes were rolled into the base game, even if you don't have the expansion? I haven't had the time to test it out, so I'm just guessing.

Hopefully, but I don't currently have the expansion. Really busy at the moment, so may take a week or so to get round to buying the xpac and finding time to go through my mods.

Would probably be more complicated than simply removing the ability to make a certain unit. Espionage ties into other game mechanics more than nuclear weapons do. There are buildings and leader unique abilities which grant free spies.

nuke is good, can't fight against god diddiculty AIs? use a nuke, if that doesn't work, use another one, if that still not working, keep use it until you destroy every city of them, lamo, they can't have nukes as fast as you anyways

A good idea. However.... What would you use the Uranium for? Reactors? Just ask the Japanese; those can be realitively simply deactivated or uncoupled dangerously. That poor country. Exposed not once, but twice to rads nobody asked for. Damn shame. There are spies in the game...

Nukes in Civ are really badly done because there's no diplomatic reaction to their use. Nor do they create any kind of civil resistance (aka peace movements or whatever.). It makes them very boring. Thanks for this mod!

people stop complaing about this mod if you play in singleplayer, this is mostly a multiplayer mod and its actually a really good idea. the fact that nukes instakill a city and leave 1 hp, but also make it so everything needs repairing, is insane and they are super broken in this civ 6 game so i agree with this mod nice job

Because I don’t like nukes. It’s okay if you do. The great thing about the universe is that I can mod my game without it affecting yours. Truly amazing times we live in.
