I realize it's been three years since you updated this mod, but I'm trying to figure out how to fix that Generals and Professionalism Bug in my own mod. Any advice on what to do?

@marinho I'm thinking it has more to do with the game not even recognizing it as an acceptable country so its just getting rid of it. I feared it was the localisation, but after a pretty deep search it seems I've done everything right. I'll attempt to make a custom event that might 'spawn' the new nation, and give the player the choice to switch to it kind of like with the TAG command in console. I'll keep you guys updated, thanks for the idea. :)

I just took a look at it and tried updating a few things but the amount of stuff that has changed since 1.23 is ludicrous. I havent gotten around to getting Dharma yet but even just in dharma with governments being reformed and all of that stuff is hard for me to wrap my head around. With that being said I do not intend to rework it right now so I would fully support someone else picking up this project.

@Poof If I understand right the Country does not Spawn?
Can you force this with an Event? And maybe let the player decide if he wants to have a pirate nation in the game or not?

I'm currently working on this, though its proving to be quite difficult. I've got it to stop crashing the game but sadly the country is not showing up. Anyone have any suggestions?

@minicrash69 I would love to but theres a tremendous amount of work to be done to even make it playable, let alone make it work as intended to. I do not have the patienece or the time to right now. Perhaps in the future.

Game crashes when I hover over the "Recruit General" button, playing with v1.23 with all expansions apart from Cradle of Civilization.

Finally updated to v1.23 and Cradle of Civilization! Sorry it took so long! I finally fixed the broken religion icons. Next up: I have no clue.

@Knallerten yes it is definitely possible to mess with instituitons but I have not gotten around to it quite yet. As for potraits, I would love to change them but I have no skill whatsoever in graphic arts nor the graphics area of eu4

I know absolutely nothing about modding, but is it possible to change instution requirements for colonialism, so Haven can get a chance to spawn colonialism? atm the capital has to be in either Europe, Asia or Africa. Furthermore, is it easy to change the images of the advisors? because it just kills the "Grrrr" pirate feeling a bit to see latin american advisors. No racism :D

Could you perhaps add the idea the Berber nations have that allows them to raid to Haven? Also, I get letters of marquer before I meet the Europeans.

In case any of you guys have a problem getting Steam to install, try unsubbing from other mods as Steam seems to have a "limit" on how many mods it will sub to.
