Even if the file is just called "download," you should still be able to unzip the file as normal and put its contents in your MODS folder.

Does this mod not work anymore? I tried downloading it through steam, but I get nothing on the mod screen. When i download it from a steam workshop downloader, the file is just called "download" and nothign happens when I put it in my mod folder. Is this mod just dead at this point?

I don't get any music.. It plays the default music which is sad.

I don't understand, how unique abilityof the civilization works.
Can anyone explain, i've captured enemy city and followers haven't migrated to my capital?

@Moriboe - Looks like a great mod Civ - I think prefer your UU, UA and UB to JFD's (still very good) remake - but is this mod civ camptible with brutalsamurai's Ethnic Units?

Is this for Vanilla? I really wish mods would say what they are for, not everyone has all the DLC and I've tried doing what they say to do if subscribing doesn't work and it still won't show up when I try to play it.

With most it won't. But there's Gedemon's YnAEMP mod, which is cutomizable to include new civs (if you don't mind editing some XML). Then there's my own Play The World G+K earth mod, which has a TSL for the Khazars.

does this mod work with true starting location mods

i dont know what i think of him, he is creative/origional, but i dont like the "foriegn religon" part of his UA

There's no difference between the disc or digital copy, both are just a steam copy. Mods not downloading is an inherent problem with steam workshop, not any mod itself. The way to fix it is to unsubscribe, clear your mod cache, then resubscribe.

Usuaully if you just unsubscribe before launching the game, then while in-game, through the mod browser, re-subscribe, it will also work and download.

The subscribe button doesn't work, When I click subscribe it says that I have subscribed but it doesn't apear in my mod list.

*Sigh*. Khazaria was a Jewish state in the Northern Caucasus, ally of Byzantium, of Turkish blood. The Mongol Horde was a Buddhist state in Mongolia, never in direct contact with Byzantium, of mixed blood. Asking whether they are related is silly. Khan and Khagan are titles, different ones at that, the same way King, Shah, and Duke are titles. Besides, the last vestiges of Khazaria where swept up and burnt by the Mongols, with the ashes scattering into the Magyars of Hungary.

Is the leader described in the Mod related to genghis khan or the khan horde? or is it a diffrent khan altogether?

In my game you cannot sell a building that has no maintenance. Are you using a mod that changes this behaviour?

Nothing special needs to be done and there are no dependencies. I'd also be surprised if there are any compatibility issues with other mods. Try clearing your game cache and redownload the mod, maybe some part is corrupt.

@ARMLevoni: won't do that, sorry. The only future work on new civs I plan to do is for the Zambezi mod.

At first i thought this was a mod based on Mount and Blade.

I started civ5 and enabled the mod, but I was unable to select khazaria as a civiliation when starting a game. I then restarted both the game and steam and have not had any luck. Is there anything special I need to do in addition to enabling the mod in the "mods" section of the main menu in order to get it to work?
