I'm using Kaedrin's Mod Manager so the vanilla launcher not working doesn't really bother me, will the mod still work with the current version of the game?

Thanks for the update, every new patch by CA tends to break alot of mods so I actually am patient about their patch policy usually (campaign ending bugs like coves should be fixed fast otherwise...)

As posted on my Amber mod, the Total War Launcher isn't updating my mods. After unsuccessful attempts with my modding group to solve the issue, I'll be putting in a request for support to CA.

This mod seems to have compatability issues with Mixu's legendary lords 1, when using this mod the lords for the empire from Mixu's mod dont spawn

Unrelated to the chaos invasion, but I've experienced this mod causing Vlad's vanguard mechanic to bug out and not work, also some quests for items will not start, and just stay on stand by with this mod enabled. Great mod though, thanks for all the work that went into making it

Can confirm it doesn't work. Sword of Khaine is stuck in the Empire's hands and I'm sure it has other bugs too.

Is the mod working for most people? I have yet to get it to work properly. It either gets stuck when Chaos show up or I never get Chaos invasions at all.

A few things a buddy of mine and I noticed while playing Coop with this mod as center stage.

We played the Empire and Dwarves

We wanted an end game event and this looked promising.

The first thing was that Archaon and the Warriors of Chaos where on the field turn 1, they where later destroyed a few turns in. We dismissed it and held out till turn 120.

The Empire had 'control' of the Sword of Khaine for the whole game. I couldnt actually use it, but the UI element always said I owned it.

We made it to turn 150 without anything from Chaos.

I'm not sure about the exact tables that you will need to edit, but you may reference the following mods that I've listed below for assistance. Also, a key in probably getting the forces of Chaos to be able to properly afford and spawn worthwhile legions in massive amounts, you will more than likely need to edit the recruitment cost and upkeep cost values for all Chaos Lords and Units. Hope I, a non modder, happened to help you at all lol!

Hey ho

I've been trying to make this into some real apocalypse mod by making it start earlier AND spawn absurd amounts of armies.

Are these the lines I need to tweak or are there more?

local ci_mid_game_turn_timeout = 120;
local ci_late_game_turn_timeout = 150;

And for armies.

local ci_max_num_hordes = {{23, 23, 23, 23, 23}, {24, 24, 24, 24, 24}};

Any help would be awesome!

@kopelt07 To change the script you have to use a word editor like https://pastebin.com/ or something. You can modify the entry turn and the amount of armies that show up in the script with that. I arbitrarily used the number of armies you see in the pics as a balance point between not having enough armies and exceeding Chaos' ability to pay for them. Sadly, there are too many variables involved to make it all work well, blame CA. As for the sword problems, sorry about that. You may want to shop for another chaos invasion script. This one is already outdated and likely won't be supported much longer. But for a lot of peeps, including me, I still use it.

So I installed this today and started new campaign as Vlad.
1. For some reason I got Sword of Khaine button as if I was playing the Empire and carry it.
2. My "Instant Quest Items" mod didn't work.

@Ana @channel lastly, I have noticed that the Vessels of Chaos did not spawn at all. While watching the global turn wheel, even from the very beginning of the Apocalypse, this subfaction never showed up at all... Any particular reason for this?

@Ana @channel According to what I'm reading here, the chaos factions all spawn with Very Hard difficulty modifiers behind them, so they should be even more stronger since my campaign is only on Hard Difficulty. Yet, the Chaos invasion is going very, very badly for Chaos in less than 20 turns and I'm still very underwhelmed by it, despite this being the best mod for what I'm looking for lol.

My question for you (and anybody else in this thread) is how do I make this hard to the point where it's FML hard for not just me, but for every AI faction out there?? Maybe it's some mods that I'm using that are countering it somehow?? I'll list the mods below that could possibly be affecting Chaos. Other than that, I'm not using any upkeep mods. Do I HAVE to use a specific one in order for this mod to work correctly?

@Ana @channel I'm loving this mod, but it still seems that the Chaos Invasion is a little weak. I apologize for the long post, but if you could please read it and let me know your thoughts, I'd greatly appreciate it :)

I have a campaign I'm playing as The Last Defenders on Hard difficulty, and the Apocalypse just triggered at turn 200. It's only turn 217 and the Puppets of Chaos, and the Servants of Chaos have already been wiped out. According to rank, the Warherd of Chaos is getting molly whopped as well, and are barely still hanging around. The only faction that doesn't appear to be getting totally smashed is the main Warriors of Chaos faction under Archaon.

Not sure if mod works for mulitplayer yet, but it does interfere with sword of khain mechanic. Also it makes it so the 50% upkeep penalty for Belegar Ironhammer does not work.

I can attest to not having tested this with TK. Also, this is based on an older script that has not been tested with new content.

@txr243 That's seriously odd. This script didnt alter anything as far as I've seen to do that. Very weird.

@Juheniqus - untested. Let us know if it does!

@Ksareas - Possible you have a mod conflict or are in a game that has a bug. I'd play a few more turns and think about uninstalling this mod and rolling back a few turns to see if it triggers. There are isolated reports of what you are describing happening before. We were never able to figure out why.

Hi, thanks for making this mod! I ran into an odd bug when I tried to use it. Playing as the Wood Elves, I didn't receive amber from my non-elf allies. Only from wood elf allies. Very odd. When I disabled the mod, the correct amber amount showed up.

Could not confederate when playing Norsca and won battle against minior Norsca faction leader lord. Had a quick save before the battle, turned off game, didn't load this mod on start up, loaded the save, auto resolved the battle now got the confederate option and the advisor speech about confederating other Norsca factions.

Where do I see my level of empire? , I'm on 150 turn with bretonia, I only have this mod and radiuos working, but I do not see that the chaos is triggered, help please
Is there any way to make the invasion happen before? I already have all my allies and since there are no enemies left, they begin to declare war, sorry for my english

New Flc mechanic. The Elven factions can draw a powerful equiablle Sword which is unique from the Shrine of Khaine region. Other factions must kill the wielder to claim the sword, it adds a ton of weapon damage and Melee attack to the lord user.

Can you make a version that works with Crynos faction unlocker + when he updates? Can't test if current version works with the unlocker because of update issuess but I assume you change start pos so therefor it would not work with unlocker.
