Any chance of this being fixed? Every time I launch the game with the mod, it crashes. Really would love to have controller support for the game.

Sadly, The d pad cimmands didn't work but the stick pressed controlls actually work. Thanks!

@FatmanLauncher due to limitations the auto-cam should be the same for both players, I'll look into it more but try turing auto-cam off in the main menu before starting a match.

@Mr.shades, the dpad doesn't seem to be working so I haven't enabled it, if you would like to try for yourself, go to the config.txt file (usually found in Documents\Wolfire\Overgrowth\Data\) and for the xbox[*button*]= use "D_UP", "D_DOWN", "D_LEFT", "D_RIGHT", if they work for you let me/ the devs know. I did just discover that you can bind to the right and left stick buttons using "R_STICK_PRESSED", "L_STICK_PRESSED" for what that is worth.

What about the d pad? You cant bind anything to the d-pad.

This is a really good mod! Thank you for making it. It's great to change the button layout on the fly, without having to go into the files.

You may know this - when playing versus splitscreen, is there anyway to stop player 2 having an automatic camera? I've noticed that the mouse and keyboard never trys to force the players camera, but it does for the controller. I realise you have made a setting to turn it on and off in the menu, but that only effects player 1. Thanks!

I'm using a 360 controller and it seems to work fine with arrow keys, but now the controller itself seems fine too. Maybe my fan was messing about with my mouse a little.

can you make a pc multiplayer for overgrowth no controller only keyboard and touch pad and mouse
White Male 25 Oct, 2017 @ 7:26am
@legogizmo - yeah I know.. But when you shoot lasers, both players will do it and I was just wondering if this maybe worked around it ;) as I said before, this is still a very nice mod! ;)
legogizmo  [author] 25 Oct, 2017 @ 7:24am
@WhiteMale there is no change to the aschar.as file, but since mods like the laser eye require you to press the "f" key to activate you can't use them with a controller.

@ProfessorVonYiannsurge I'll look into that issue, the menu goes back to mouse control if it moves. Can you tell me what controller you are using? Also does the issue still occur if you use the arrow keys on your keyboard?

Does this make "player 2" (if he uses a controller) use a different aschar.as file so that fly mod/laser eye mod will only be used by "player 1" (which would be using the keyboard+mouse? :)

great mod anyway I might add :)

Works really well, but sometimes breaks in the pause menu. The highlight around the box will disappear after half a second or so and it's difficult to click the options as you have to move the box onto an option and quickly select it. This doesn't happen all the time, though. Might have something to do with pausing mid-fight?
