Yeah, my thoughts as well. and as long as your legs are long enough, as long as the SI cooperates, water bases should be fun to do. Too bad we don't have submersables

yeah this was orginally a proof of concept design / starter colony I really enjoyed it and learned allot making it - I'm actually thinking since there will be so much water to make a off shore base in 8.0 with all the new building blocks and such

After spawning it in game, I see the rust.
Great idea about the floating city type, I was thinking something similar.

well its actually got rust all over it and really was a concept idea for floating bases that didn't look like they were actually floating

its even got rusty oil drums on the side to act as bumpers

really I was thinking what would make a really good landing strip in the water and saw a helicopter on a barge and was like hey that would work - I actually was thinking for 8.0 making 3 barges this size and making it into a little floating city that players could walk around in with a garden and solar power kinda duct taped to the side looking makeing it look more like a diy colony then a prefab clean one like we see

Great Idea . . . but a bit clean for an Old Barge, LOL
I'll have to check this one out.
