Hey, any idea why the gangs and the Swampers *immediately* start fighting? It keeps wiping out Shark every time I import. I like the extra buildings, but I can't use any of them when all the shopkeeps end up gutted by Hounds trying to "attack troublemakers."

This mod indeed DOES conflict with Genesis, as Genesis already recreated shark. Unfortunately I would've liked this to be added on as well, but it just didn't go well together.

Some people say it works and some people say it doesn't. I can't say for certain if it will work for your game but you could always back up your saves and try giving it a shot.

i dont know if its this mod but some of the shops in shark (specifically weapon and general shops) are not possible to enter

Seems to still work for me in any case. Not that I tested anything special. Just that the town is expanded, and clearly factions are fighting each other there.

But if you load it into FCS, it will add any new attributes to things you added, and you can hit cleanup to remove unneccessary data. Then save and upload without doing any actual work on it. Presumably that's better than nothing.

I recommend disabling it for the time being then. It may be the kind of problem that requires me to rebuild everything from the ground up, to be honest.

What happens when I get close to Shark

It starts loading... then works for 5 seconds, then starts infinite loading.... eventually crashes

Not sure why :)

Normally I would add security but the whole point of Shark is that its an anarchic hellhole with no law or order, so the bloodspider attacks actually make sense. As for the villages, I don't see this project turning into something that big. I pretty much made this mod on a whim.

hey, thanks for the mod but is it posible to expand shark a tad bit to include more security for the city compared to the swamp villages? Its a city compared to the villages so why would blood spiders be able to kill half the town?

Will you expand not just shar kbut also the swamp villages in the future?

Oh, I have been. I've been modding world spawns, and removing a lot of clutter from the world to help my fps, also tweaking faction items. I haven't got around to creating new factions and towns yet, but I plan to eventually. A mod I plan to make is to turn some parts of the world into "warzones" with a lot of opposing factions spawning in the same area. It's a shame faction interaction is fairly limited, if they could conquer each other, I could just imagine the possibilities. Thank you, though. :)

No problem. And I encourage you to try making your own as well. I know my stuff seems impressive, but honestly the FCS is the easiest modding tool I've ever seen. I encourage anyone who reads this to experiment with it themselves.

I had a few ideas and tested them out in other cities other than shark but apparently it just bugged to shit. At least your mod works. Thanks for the gang addons. Reason why i posted my first response is because i read the kenshi lore books on wiki about shark and MAN OH MAN the gangs really hate each other like in that season of Rome Tv series.

Its done there are now lesser gangs who patrol Shark and will fight each other if they meet up.

Ghettos? Perhaps the best way is putting lots of small town around it(very close) that are labelled as being "Shark Slum" etc.

I too would love to see Shark with multiple districts and multiple gangs "fighting" over control. I know we can't have the NPCs fighting, but just the atmosphere of that would be interesting.
