I also tried it with a shield generator. It was disappointing.
I was expecting a special bonus like a turret factory in the fighter factory.
It is a very sad story if it is not in the current version.

sadly shields can't be put on fighters i tryed making one with a shield gen on it, did not work maybe in a update?

No shields? The Defender was known for its shields....
