Shoutout to this guy for knowing what the gyrojet was.

Given the whole living daylights thing as well as the fact that the real life version of this gun can hold six shots, I think this would be best for spy. Though I really wouldn’t care which class this would be used by if it were added.

I thought it was an SMG at first, slick design.

I think design-wise it should be an Engie-only weapon, since it is made and engineered in an unconventional way, which fits Engie more than any other merc.

PLEASE VALVE, GIVE ENGIE MORE SECONDARIES! Us engineers only have 3 secondary weapons, and of those only 2 are viable. Please put this in the game, to make the secondary slot more of a choice than "Use stock pistol mabye use the wrangler"

I love it. But my only problem with ut is, why would sodier have it?

I had the same idea, but it wouldn't be for Scout, Soldier or Engy. It would be, and hear me out, a Sniper Rifle. It obviously wouldn't be a pistol, but one of the larger rocket based guns. "Why a sniper weapon?" you may ask. Because rockets need to build up speed, which was ultimately the downfall in this real life counterparts design. In TF2, however, it could serve as a mechanic. A weapon that has projectiles that build up speed (and damage) over time (but would be hitscan for simplicity's sake). So, it would have reverse damage falloff. IDK tho, just an idea.

I too liked the Gyrojet... it is in essence a crusaders crossbow, with 8 shots and is semiauto
the longer the shot the more damage is dealt. max damage per shot 50 point blank is 2
-33% ammo in clip or 8 shots
-10% rate of fire
only crits at close quarters, crits deal no extra damage
crits cause +100% knockback (in real life the bullet has such a small speed at point blank it could barely injur an unarmored target, it would still hurt however)
weapon cannot fire in or under water (it's a rocket)
cannot fire while jarated or mad milked (if you are soaked it stands to reason your gun is too)

This needs to be a skin!

I like this because it's hilarious if you know the Gyrojet's history. It's bullets aren't explosive rockets, just rocket propelled, and I think that's hilarious because that meant if you fired at someone at point blank, it LITERALLY would not hurt at all. It starts slow and accelerates, the exact OPPOSITE function of a bullet. It's deadly from afar, but if you can close that 10m distance, (so about to 5m) you could actually catch the bullet and snuff it out with your shirt. Don't get farther than 10m then it could really hurt. Overall, the Gyrojet is a better melee weapon than an actual gun. So I like this mod because it's hilarious.

If you ask me I think this weapon should be just for the engineer alone. Because the scout already has 2 pistols just for himself. Why force the engineer to share a third with him?
