@Bassi I think the only thing that you need to do is eliminate the northern rock or move the western blocking rocks to the highest northern part of the beach they're on. I tried for about another half hour just randomly clicking with no luck. Seems from the comments some people are able to get past it with a lot of clicking or haven't had any issues at all. Makes me wonder if there's a mod for pathfinding? Or maybe a recent patch broke it?
Like I said in my original message, the mod is so good it's surprising that a little pathfinding issue causes it to go crashing down. Makes me wonder if there's something in options or a patch that causes some people to not be able to get past it.
@jellyontoast: Thanks for your friendly words! :)
Perhaps a pathfinding issue. Try to get close to the rocks and then get through there by right-clicking a lot! I think the passage is to the north.
About mission 4: INTRUDERS. Maybe I am doing something wrong, but after capture boat, I cannot realize how can it leaves capture place. I mean it is stuck in there. If I try to move to the left side it became stuck on rocks. Any help?
Thanks for helping me fix the problem, I found an old save and through some hard work, I "beat" the campaign. The ending is creepy....assuming I did it right.
Yeah, all the animals are gone, I freed them all, and yet the guards keep acting alert.
Did you get all llamas out of the fence?
As soon as there are no more animals in the fence, the guards run to search for the missing llamas and leave the camp. Then you can pass there unseen.
Yes, I'm past that part, I'm up to the part in scenario 4 with the yellow guards and the llamas. The guards keep finding me, I tried distracting them with the llamas but no luck. Black this part out if you can, I don't know how lol.
Did you try to hide in the tower already?
I've just realised - when watching a YouTube video with scenario no. 5 - that I was playing without those sounds!!
I couldn't find in AoE any setting regarding language. As for my computer, the language is English UK.
Any tip on how to solve that? Thanks!
It was worth persisting. All the final part of this scenario - after the stretch with many towers - was amazing. The end of the episode and the transition to scenario 5 is one of the very best things I have seen in Age of Empires.
I have already played scenarios 2 and 3.
Scenario 2 has the same qualities of the first. I enjoyed it a lot.
Scenario 3 was very difficult for me. I could finish it only by cheating several times, getting extra gold. But I liked the contrast with the design of 1 & 2.
In scenario 4, I was able to make Meichor Ramírez escape only after seeing a video by Apo Mind in YouTube, which confirmed an idea that I had had, but showed me that I needed to be faster.
But now I'm stuck in the part where there are several towers and soldiers patrolling. I managed to move half way with Alejo Garcia, but am failing all attempts to move on... The same video by Apo Mind in YouTube confirmed that my idea was right - but my execution has not been fast enough... And it's not possible to cheat...
Never mind. I still had fun! It's a memorable campaign. Well done!!
Feel free to share your thoughts on the remaining scenarios!
And there was a trick in the Spanish mission with one of my soldiers, that was a hassle but made me laugh. I won't comment about that here, in order not to spoil a surprise, in case the same thing happens to someone else.
I didn't know this episode of history, although I'm a Brazilian and quite interested in history.
Thank you so much, Bassi. This is certainly one of the very best contributions to Age of Empires that I have seen!
I have played only the first scenario, "An Adventure Begins", and found it unbelievably good! Bassi, you have done a wonderful job.
Your terrain is incredibly beautiful. I have built a few scenarios myself (for my own use) and I'm particular about building nice, pleasing terrains. But yours surpasses almost everything I have seen. I even have no idea how you manage to do a few things. But it doesn't matter - what matters is that it's a pleasure to move around in the map.
The dialogue is also very nice and entertaining.
I'm glad you enjoyed the scenarios!
There is a villagers close to a war wagon, ask him for help. He can hide your men inside his cart; that way you can leave the base.
Hey, thanks for your comment. There is actually nothing you can do. The boat is supposed to sink. Wait for this to happen, the game will continue then. :)
There is no way you can beat him the regular way. You found the hole already -- now lurk your opponent into it. Then you should be victorious!
Video looks interesting, but I can't understand it since I neither speak Portuguese nor Spanish ...
I´ve heard previously this story from a Brazilian/Gaucho historian:

Maybe this helps: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GIYsjGt_6Rw
Maybe you have to speak to the guard at the gate first which refuses to let you leave the settlement.
The wagon will bring you out of the city. Bring all your heroes to the wagon and talk to the coachman nearby. Make sure all heroes are close the wagon, then select it.
