Isn't that seven, not six?
<BPG>Kharmakazi 11 Mar, 2013 @ 7:24am
would be better if youincluded the arrow descriptions ingame
The Ultimate XD 7 Mar, 2013 @ 4:13pm
Yea the bundle idea is a good one. Maybe like 15 or so. Also, there should also bedifferent types of arrows. The ones included are all iron arrow varients. Adding arrows of different kinds would be cool. You could also change the forge locations of the arrows from misc to the appropriate type of arrow if you did that. You wouldnt have to change the name to fit the arrow type, since that would be apparent

You should really edit this so the arrows aren't crafted in a 1:1 ratio. Using 1 skooma bottle, one torch, etc for one arrow is really taxing.
Bundles of 15 or 20 would make this mod more interesting.

I can't believe no one thought of this earlier, freakin awsome. Also, is their anyway you can make the green arrow costume? combined with this would be epic.

@mysterman3 - I don't blame you, this is very much a wip :) basicly a sneak peak for my hunters mind series that will follow soon :)
The Cyber System 22 Jan, 2013 @ 5:16am
Not very immersive, and so I will, not subscribe, but I have three of your other mods downloaded so it's not the mod that's the issue here. I'm just picky.

SuperChill 4 Jan, 2013 @ 9:03pm
Sorry for the long read. XD

Sweet! About those Realistic arrow suggestions. You've beckoned the right guy. lol
Question, do all crafted poisons share the same ID? If so, one could theoretically craft arrows and dip them in recently crafted poisons for more uses than just one per bottle. 5 arrows per bottle would be more realistic, but that may just be something that can be changed via another mod.

As for realistic Arrows (as far as Skyrim is concerned):
I've seen several out there, but these should have some sort of added effect rather than 'travel faster' or 'hit harder'.
SuperChill 4 Jan, 2013 @ 9:02pm
Broadhead arrow - "bleeding"/lingering health drain
Magic arrow - "mental shock"/lingering magic drain
Blunt arrow - "head shot"/2 second paralysis (Or w/e works best, it should only be long enough to, figuratively, stun, not permastun. Perhapse you could have the same effect from a decent stamina ravage.)
Piercing arrow - "keen eye"/higher critical chance
Glowing arrows - Would be a bit more useful than the torches I think. Simply because you can grab and re-use glowing arrows.

I do like the other ideas for the timebomb as well, but, again, I think the material cost is a bit insane for lv 1-20 considering, by lv 20+, people will preffer a better, cheaper arrow. Require different levels of smithing for different arrows. Magic arrows can only be created after gaining that magic smithing/improving perk.
SuperChill 4 Jan, 2013 @ 9:02pm
The higher the level of smithing, the better the arrow effect. Iron for the blunt (to help kickstart a deer hunter). Steel gives broadhead. Piercing is glass. Glowing in magic smithing. I hope that doesn't confise matters. I just hate to see work put in only to be ignored late game. I'd preffer it to be an ongoing, progressive experience. Once you hit dragon smithing, you get all of the varieties in a loor friendly 'dragon' version. That's how I would do it if I had any sort of patience with it. If you have teamspeak send me a PM and I'll let you in a little group I've got so you can teach me how to use the Creation kit and posibly help you with this project. :)

Sure wish shot location was relevant in Skyrim. Maybe next game.
"He's not going to be in Elder Scrolls VI." lol if you get the reference.

@SuperChill - Great feedback, will consider it for sure, do note that at the moment I'm just all about adding the recipes and getting the arrows to work right. Would love some realistic arrow suggestions. Am about to add poison arrows :)
SuperChill 4 Jan, 2013 @ 8:39am
Will do. I have tested only the Frost Tip, Limb Spike, and Torch Arrows. So far, I'm just not a fan of the crafting material costs. Raising the cost of iron arrows to 10 and having an output of 10 would easily fix the issue without becoming a game breaker. I still preffer my Throwing Torch mod over the arrow, it just feels a bit more 'realistic'. I didnt really notice a change in enemy movement speed when using the Limb Spike Arrow either. Perhapse I'm just unlucky. lol Anxious to try out the others as soon as I have the materials.
dylandeheer  [author] 3 Jan, 2013 @ 12:59pm
@SuperChill - Don't worry :D This mod is in early Alpha. So these kinds of things will be considered for sure! Keep in touch!
SuperChill 3 Jan, 2013 @ 10:09am
Was definitely looking for this kind of thing. Poisons and such are so useless. One time use, ingrediants for the poisons are scarce, and by the time they are actually useful with alchemy, I'm already skilled enough to kill most enemies without the poisons. Would be nice to see something that would use alchemy potions to craft a bundle of poison tipped arrows rather than a simple one shot use. Just a few thought, however, I like what I see here nonetheless!
Blue Jay 2 Jan, 2013 @ 7:51pm
alright!
dylandeheer  [author] 2 Jan, 2013 @ 12:50pm
@Zithro - I will try and fix that. It's quite a struggle getting that straight so stay tuned :)
Blue Jay 2 Jan, 2013 @ 11:06am
could you fix it so time bomb arrows also work when they hit people or animals?
dylandeheer  [author] 1 Jan, 2013 @ 2:26pm
Updated :)
Blue Jay 29 Dec, 2012 @ 11:00am
Hehehe, i like spoilers :3. I will give it a try.
dylandeheer  [author] 29 Dec, 2012 @ 2:57am
@Zithro56 - To check whether it loaded right, go to a forge and check the "misc" tab. Or go to dragonsbridge, where close to the village a chest is located with all the samples.
Blue Jay 28 Dec, 2012 @ 10:20pm
i havent come across any yet, but it might no have loaded right. let me try again
Blue Jay 28 Dec, 2012 @ 6:40pm
