Its not the same, so if this gets updated you can choose what you prefer, in the meantime, the alternative might satisfy you.

That's alright, man, no worries at all. The game just hit 1.1 and released a DLC. If you'd be alright with it, I've got somewhat of an interest in looking at if it'd be possible to update it myself, though I'm not experienced at all yet. Assuming I can figure out how to do it and give you credit for the prior update and Skullywag for the original, would that be alright with you?

There's a 1.1? Damnit, I hate updating things. I thought the game was done.

I'll have to talk to the coder who can update the DLL portions, it'll probably be a while. Sorry.

Do you plan to update the mod to 1.1? It's one of the better options available without breaking the game in half.

Small question. Can you get the batteries to work in stuffable submenus, as in, clicking on small battery, then selecting the material type, like you would for walls?

Hey there, Plasteel batteries do not seem to build. My folks gather all the material, and when the last piece if gathered, it all just...vanishes.

i can vouch for the issue AEF8234 is experiencing, i am getting an effectively identical warning, the only variable that changes being UraniumBattery70248 which changes to a ~random number and the type of battery i place (only the ones that "can not explode"

There seems to be a text mistake - large steel batteries say it won't explode like uranium batteries. I somehow don't think that was intended because normal steel batteries do explode, like gold, and silver. I think even plasteel.

I'm also getting the "System.MissingMethodException: Method not found: 'Verse.GenExplosion.DoExplosion'" error, for any type of battery (hundreds of times a second if one of these batteries is built). Can't use the mod at the moment

When base game hits A18, sure. But I loaded up and it still says 17 in the main screen. :P I won't prematurely update till A18 is fully out to everyone in the release branch.

Yes it can be safely added, however like all mods if you want to remove it, you need to first remove the objects you placed. So any non-steel battery added by this mod would need to be removed. It should be safe to remove after that. Theres no special code behind this, its literally just a copy of the base game battery with different stats.

I don't think those things should gain a power boost from being "stuffed". Maybe a color change or whatever like normal things but not really a boost in power as the stuff they are made of doesn't improve efficency.

Not to mention I just use solar roofing, so I don't even use solar panels anymore, I just make a roof of solar panels.
