I had the same problem. Enemies I kill drop through the ground. Not once in a while, but all of them.

I never realized it's this mod until today. I deactivated it, and the phenomenon stopped immediately in the next battle.
NeuroticSlav 22. juni 2023 kl. 6:43
Hmm any idea why i dont see it in 2k launcher?
Jewels  [ophavsmand] 29. dec. 2022 kl. 18:37
yes, with the Highlander
Dog_Theft 23. dec. 2022 kl. 1:17
So all i have to do is sub to this mod right ? i never play this game before
Jewels  [ophavsmand] 19. nov. 2022 kl. 21:19
ragdoll editing mods wouldn't even relate to that anyway, putting units down doesn't trigger a ragdoll
Fion 3. nov. 2022 kl. 3:52
Does anyone know how to fix units being dropped don't clip into ground? Anyone I put down they fall into the ground and I can't see them anymore. And I haven't installed any ragdoll mods.

Just finished a campaign with about 685 mods, this one included, and had no major issues! Thanks for putting this up.
Jewels  [ophavsmand] 13. juli 2022 kl. 21:54
That should only occur on soldiers with active simulation on for cloth physics or something similar, there is a way to fix that however its kinda technical and involves altering the collision channel of the pawn
exultiaa 13. juli 2022 kl. 20:34
is there a way to disable ragdoll collision with XCOM soldiers? dead advent soldiers get flung around when my soldiers run past the tile the bodies are on.

Info: Using this Mod together with the Dark Eldar Raiders mod https://gtm.steamproxy.vip/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1904215974&searchtext=eldar will led to T-posing for some Eldars (wrack and wyches).
GRANDMASTER NIMROD 6. aug. 2021 kl. 12:41
Ok cool, thanks for clarification i didnt understand
Jewels  [ophavsmand] 5. aug. 2021 kl. 22:29
no definitely not, this simply flags the highlander to disable the WOTC code that disables Ragdolls after death
GRANDMASTER NIMROD 5. aug. 2021 kl. 18:11
Could this mod potentially improve the interaction when a spark kills someone with strike? It feels so lame to punch someone with a Mec just to have him fall in the same tile
Sinapus 21. jan. 2021 kl. 10:33
Ran a Horde mission, but didn't kill a huge amount of Lost so not a lot of bodies stacking up. Will try another mission with ADVENT/Alien in a Lost-infested zone. (The ones w/rescue a VIP and 2 soldiers. Those usually have multiple waves of Lost by the time I get everyone out.)
Sinapus 19. jan. 2021 kl. 14:19
...or maybe I should check and make sure I have the mod active first. :steamsad:

I'll see if performance drops during missions w/Lost.
Sinapus 9. jan. 2021 kl. 10:31
I did have some lag on a mission with some Lost hordes, but otherwise it works pretty well.

(Really, Hunter? You are a Shell-Shocked foe of the Reapers, and you stood on an explosive platform whilst my Reaper was in range and had Remote Start? Worth the swarm. The Purifier blowing up later was minor in comparison.)

Of course!
Hot Wet Nobel Laureates 20. sep. 2020 kl. 20:25
Ok, thanks again
Jewels  [ophavsmand] 20. sep. 2020 kl. 20:23
Sorry about that it should work fine, I got confused because I was trying to multitask, no this should work just fine!
Hot Wet Nobel Laureates 20. sep. 2020 kl. 18:32
Thanks for the info

Does this work with Archon's Visual Diversity?
Jewels  [ophavsmand] 19. feb. 2020 kl. 11:10
Add me as a friend on Steam I’ll share as much knowledge as I can !
Yamaha 15. feb. 2020 kl. 23:48
Any chance you'll release a tutorial on how to make custom enemies ragdoll friendly? I realize it's too much to do on your own given your schedule, so i figured i should do it myself, but i don't even know where to start.
Rider of Tang 23. juli 2019 kl. 15:09
I got hard with the lying snakes, is this normal?
TooT_PikK 21. juli 2019 kl. 19:45

sdomult 1. apr. 2019 kl. 14:28
I'm glad to see your work again Vortex! :D
Jewels  [ophavsmand] 24. dec. 2018 kl. 15:00
It’s just because the mod lacks any class files, it is intentional
Suprah 24. dec. 2018 kl. 14:51
I'm getting this in my launch log, along with a couple of other mods that are giving me this message.

[0162.10] Warning: Warning, Failed to load '[WOTC]RagdollCollision': Can't find file '[WOTC]RagdollCollision'
Jewels  [ophavsmand] 23. nov. 2018 kl. 14:14
I have seen the issue occur countless times in standard X2the way the game handles units means it can’t be fixed without a rewrite
neIVIesis 22. nov. 2018 kl. 17:00
Ok, the mod is working as intended as well. I hope there was a way to enable collision for units :/

XCOM 2 had it collision applied, but somehow it's disabled in WOTC :/
Jewels  [ophavsmand] 22. nov. 2018 kl. 10:52
In the description I said it refers to corpses, ragdolls are physics enabled bodies, not units
neIVIesis 22. nov. 2018 kl. 10:18
My question is not answered in your description, or it's unclear. Collision between units is not working while they are alive in my current load out. So I am not sure if your mod is meant to fix ALL collisions or just corpses, if it is fully working or not for me.
Jewels  [ophavsmand] 22. nov. 2018 kl. 9:48
For future reference please read the description, this mod alters physics interactions , IE ragdolls
neIVIesis 20. nov. 2018 kl. 20:25
I see Advent soldiers still walk through each other in their patrols. Does this mod only affect corpses?
Jewels  [ophavsmand] 13. okt. 2018 kl. 23:31
you are welcome! :)
Insufferable Smartypants 13. okt. 2018 kl. 23:03
Thanks!
Jewels  [ophavsmand] 13. okt. 2018 kl. 23:00
This mod litterally serves one purpose, to access the Highlander's variable that was implemented for this mod to exist, if the Highlander updates that config gets reset, having this mod on ensures Ragdoll Collision never gets deactivated, the reason this mod is so tiny is because on it's own it does nothing, its an activator nothing more
Insufferable Smartypants 13. okt. 2018 kl. 22:29
I noticed that ragdoll collision is an option to enable in the Highlander ini files. If I enable it there, does that make this mod redundant?
Jewels  [ophavsmand] 9. okt. 2018 kl. 13:09
oh does it do that because it hasn't been updated? awww and thank you, you too, have a wonderful day
Trigger 9. okt. 2018 kl. 13:07
but anyway thank you for all your great mods i hope you have a great day
Trigger 9. okt. 2018 kl. 13:06

Jewels  [ophavsmand] 9. okt. 2018 kl. 13:05

Trigger 9. okt. 2018 kl. 13:04
ok cool um could you just make it so the lancher dosent alert me if you have time
Jewels  [ophavsmand] 9. okt. 2018 kl. 13:03
awww thank you, Impact FX should work just fine, as should most of my other mods
Trigger 9. okt. 2018 kl. 13:03
ok becuse this and the impact fx mods are one of my favorite mods you are a awesome modder
Jewels  [ophavsmand] 9. okt. 2018 kl. 13:01
This will work, but I doubt the HL will without an update
Trigger 9. okt. 2018 kl. 12:56
Will this work for the new dlc ?
Jewels  [ophavsmand] 8. okt. 2018 kl. 17:02
I'd have to ask someone who understands it more, ideally I'd like it to only start freezing ragdolls after a certain number, or Lost only or something
Dragon32 8. okt. 2018 kl. 16:06
Hey Vortex ♀ Pixalation. Think I know the answer to this one, but just asking the question...

I just finished playing through a Rescue Haven Survivors mission from "Additional Mission Types Redux" and about three quarters of the way through things were really chugging. About 10 FPS.

Now that mission type is full of the Lost in an abandoned city. So I was wondering if the Hghlander toggle for ragdolls could be dynamically switched on and off depending on whether the mission's got the Lost sitrep?

I pretty much played through a whole WotC campaign with this mod enabled and this most recent mission is the only one where I've felt the need to exit the game and disable the ragdolls. Having some kind of funky scripting doing that for me automagically would be really lovely.

If it's not possible then no worries, I can just do what I've done this evening: manually do it.
Jewels  [ophavsmand] 17. juni 2018 kl. 14:41
You are welcome :D
