i do wish the peace theme was still up on youtube its no longer on there which is a same cause i love listening to the peace theme i never listened to the war theme also i always somehow do very good with this civ i dont know why

Seeing a pattern to custom civs overwritting civs instead of making new ones. Which, as I've said to all of the other ones, prevents compatability.

I don't know if it is just me or if its a general issue but several icons are not showing up with this mod. Inclluding the opening art screen and the icon for the Horse Warriro in the build screen.

The Grammar in the mod is really, really poor. I recommend that you get that fixed. I've Made my own, more grammatically correct version, but I'm not sure how to upload it.

@Blueslug121 - You gave me the project file, but it contains none of the xml or dds files required, just knowledge that they are in the project. Think you could pack those up in a .rar file and upload it?

Wow I just want to say thanks to everyone who has downloaded and enjoyed this mod. I'll probably get around to changing those names for the Saddle Arabian leader within the next day or two.

So good news, sometime later this week after I finish the last of these final exams, I should be able to upload those xml files with the text/names/miscellanious stuff so fluttershy will be able to finish the griffon mod. Additionally I will be able to change Saudian's name to Haakim (thanks to D4sh1te for that).

The two Saddle Arabians were named: Haakim is the brown one's name, and Amira is the pink one's name.

I would give you the bulk of what I was working on but it was too bug riddled, however if you want I could give you the leader dialogue, civopedia description, AI behavior, etc that I had finished if you would like that.

Sadly I do not believe I'll be able to complete the mod I've been (very slowly) working on (bugs slowed me down immensely) , even though I would throughly enjoy to do so many things have come up. Mainly a lot of work related stuff, that and a general disinterest in civ 5 for about 2 months now. I really do hope that this mod will see the light of day but I unforunatly feel that I will not be the one to complete it, however I know StarMan DX is more than capable and could probably do a better job anyays :P . All that being said wish I could but I'd be cheating a lot of people out of a good mod if you just waited on me to finish it.

Hey, like the mod! There are some grammatical errors in it, but overall it's pretty good! If you like, I can go through and find all the errors for you. I've helped StarMan with a few in the past.

thanks for the suggestions, I could always just give them a unique building that costs 0, so it functions as a bonus, and give that as a free building for the first city (probably what I'll do instead), and yeah that's a good point. I'd have it out right now besides of the trait thing and a couple of bugs that are rather frustrating but I'm getting to it :)

Flat bonus yield on mountains would have to come from a building, and even then it would only work in G&K. It might be possible to use lua to manually add the correct amount of food and production to each city each turn, but it would be messy. One better option that comes to mind is defining a new Feature with the appropriate bonuses and then use lua to give that feature to mountains in griffin territory. I could look into the lua side of that if you wish.
To represent the ease of short-distance flying movement I'd suggest letting the custom unit ignore terrain penalties rather than giving it extra movement points.

Dunno about the mountain bonus. I'd comb through the civtraits file in assests, the only mountain bonus is the cartheage one to my knowlege, I dunno though.
Building sounds fine.
Unit, hmmmm. You could give them the paradrop promotion to reflect their flying ability. Just that though. Don't know how balanced that would be late medevial.

okay so I'm working on the gryphon mod (slowly) but it should be out and published by Monday, probably going to be along these lines: Leader: King Black, Trait: Mountain Homes -gives +3 food and +1 production to all mountains (trying to figure out how to do this), UB: Mountain Forge +5 production and +2 gold (might edit this) needs to be near a mountain (2 spaces away) and replaces the regular forge, UU: Gryphon Maurader- replaces longswordsman with +1 or +2 movement (not sure at the moment). Sound good? Please feel free to drop a comment below, or just wait til I pbulish it and tell me then :)

Sorry school has been hell lately so I'm not too far in doing them, but I will try to work on them very soon and will probably have them out in 2 weeks, also cool I'm excited to see what you're gonna do with the pegasi. I still probably want to do a buffalo and a dimaond dog too, so I guess everyone's gonna have to be paitent until then haha :)

Hey Slug, I got pegasi coming out either tomorrow or friday and I'm gonna start planning out my next mod, hows your griffon mod coming along, if you started at all? They were gonna problaly be next for me but they'd tie in with my Orion mod. I know you said you were doing them so I don't want to double up or steal the lime light or anything.

Well my reasoning behind that was that I wanted to give them a sort of feel, very unique as there really are no "Gold" civs persay, and since they already get a nice +5 bonus from their granary replacment I figured they got enough. Didn't want to make them OP, however I might see about changing it if more people bring up the same/similar point, thanks again for the tip :)

I like the mod, but I feel like their Unique Trait is unique enough. I understand that there's nearly no lore on them, but there's surly something that could be done that's a little more "Unique" than Double oil and +2 gold.

Perhaps.... +2 culture from Strategic resources, +2 of each resource from each improved Strategic Resouce node or something?

great mod, just wish there were more art to choose from of these guys. I looked on derpibooru, but there was next to nothing. Why, I remember a time when a different looking background pony could get a few seconds of screen time and still swamp the fandom with art.

Blueslug there is a bug with the icon next to the units in this mod when you play as them, and the flag when the notifactions come up it does not show, apart from that its amazing.
