Unless something is actually not working, you can ignore that. Game says that each new verson even if the files related to the mod haven't been changed

Works fine for me. Did you test it during bad weather? Is DoF is on by any chance?

@MrBot, im not sure but it seems it does need a update

just tested it and it seems to give no change. i tried from 500 to 0.01, saved the game and then reloaded. no changes what so ever.

Latest game update changed a few things. I've updated the mod and it should be working again now

For some reason this mods causes extremly flickering off all, except the ui, since today.

It worked for me from beginning till today.

I just write for other people having this issue: Options => Advanced => 2nd last thing (dont know the english word for it) => Turn it OFF. Then the mod works. lol

I only have this one mod. Iam new to the game and thats the only mod Iam interested in. :(

Nah, the version doesn't matter. Perhaps you have mod conflict? Try disabling all other mods

I removed the green hook and also stopped and reactivated the subscription (not sure if it is the correct word) of this mod. Nothing happens. Game Version: 1.1.6645 Mod Version: 1.1.6350. Could this be the reason?

Does the mod still work? It seems to change nothing at all for me. Even when i reload the game or start new ones. Even set all to 0 and still nothing. Can't see the house behind a house iam looking at in zoom. Foggy/blurred. Someone has an idea? I really want to start playing the game but the fog kills it for me. :/

That in game fog is terrible. I can only last playing the game for a few minutes before it hurts my eyes

Log should contain some crash info, but in your case I don't see anything. Going to add you as friend, so we don't off-topic here

Thanks. your very kind I will do that, I wondered how to find which mod was the problem what tools are used, I sent a log.log a saves errors the CEGUI.log to Mindillsuion they never replied. . I upgraded my system rebuilt it actually with better and bigger parts so to have it now crash again was just well you can understand. I have spent so much time on this village lvl and between crashes I had given up.
But so far so good. Hopefully I will get my last achievement of 2000 population if it just stops crashing after every update :-)
But I think have a key now to solve it.
Back up to 900 population again and it's playing fine. System ram is now only using 22% and cpu is using 47% a bit high.

Compared mod's files to the latest game version and everything seems to be in order. If you crash again, find log.txt in game's folder and send it my way

Hi, I cant really know Mrbot but after the last update 23rd March 2018 my 3 large population games crashed onload, checking my mods versions 20 of them were out of date to the 1.1.6614 of this latest update version, wondered which one so systematically unsubscribed from all deleted the mod folder trying to see if updating them woudl fix it no go. The error is a signature problem and Forest Village stops responding.
Seems I fixed it now by other methods ;)

I have the fog set to 0.2. I get a little atmospheric effect but mostly it is simply fantastic without ruining the feeling of actual weather. I love the dark nights and the beautiful days. Cutting down on the wet look makes winter much easier on my eyes.

Thanks everyone! Screenshots were taking at mod's default settings(which are somewhat mild at decreasing the fog), because I wanted them to be identical to what player would see at first launch. But yeah, I guess I could make a better illustration of mod's features

I set both .25 couldnt believe that morning fog is gone.

Your Pics are very misleading, i went with a .25 and game looks great and i barely notice fog at all, i concur, best mod ever!

VileMushroom, go to mod options and set both fog values to "0", although this will make the game look kinda ugly, so personally I would not recommend going lower than "0.1"
